Great house, perfect for many people. Separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Even a washing machine. The kitchen has everything you need and maybe more :-) WLAN included, AC works great. Walking distance (2 minutes) to the village square with many restaurants, mini markets and souvenir shops. You can reach out to Maria - the host - via phone and email. She response quickly.

It is located in perfect spot for visiting all the tourist attractions of the area (Vai, Itanos, Siteia, Minoan palace of Zakros and beaches). It is a small traditional village with many options for restaurants. There is also a small folklore museum and a nice beach in 2 kil distance.

A small lovely town on the easternmost tip of Crete.
A small lovely town on the easternmost tip of Crete. Touristy but not overcrowded. Lovely streets, family-owned cafes and restaurants, friendly people. A bit far from popular Elounda and Agios Nikolaos, thus less crowded and more tranquil. Famous Vai palm beach close by. Worth visiting and staying for several days if you want quiet vacations away from crowds.
While we only stayed for one night, we enjoyed the modern bathroom, the comfortable beds and the clean room. Check-In was easy and quick. There are several restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel that can be reached by foot. We did not use the pool, but it looked clean. The breakfast was okay for one night, though we would have appreciate a bigger selection of fresh and healthy options for a longer stay.
The hotel is close to a variety of beautiful beaches if you have access to a car.
The property was so beautiful! And our hotel room had an amazing view of the ocean. We loved this place ! And can’t wait to come back again ! The family who owns the hotel we’re so incredible! the first night we had dinner the owners son served us and went above and beyond for our food and drinks. Exceptional service from everyone. I highly recommend staying here. It’s also 7 mins away from Vai beach. Thank you so much for making our stay so special ❤️
We loved the view and the surroundings. Galini is close to Vai Beach, Itanos archeological site, Palaiokastro village and much more places worth exploring.
You can observe sunrises from the terrace. We could stay there for a week.
Also, the kitchen is fully equipped, Internet connection works perfectly fine, room was cleaned after 2 nights (we got new towels as well) and Foutula is one of the loveliest hostess we’ve met in Crete
I stayed in 6 hotels in Crete for my 8-day holidays. This was the best property I stayed in. By far the better worth for its price. Big sized studio with king-size beds and a big bathroom with a bath. Nice balcony with seaside view. It also has the best bonus you can get- a swimming pool with a seaside view as well. The receptionist (probably the owner) was very kind and helpful with everything. 12/10. Cannot recommend enough.
My room was very clean and functional. The hotel is in a convenient location and within easy walking distance to the town square, where there are good restaurants, markets, and shops. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A simple, nourishing breakfast is served each morning and included in the price, which is a good value. Though I didn't use the pool, it was large and very clean. There is good seating outside.
Hotel was clean and sanitized! The staff was very friendly, provided great service, they allowed us to swim in the pool after 9pm (which was the closing time). The rooms were very clean and our bathroom was fully renovated. It was in general a cozy atmosphere and the breakfast was rich (for this type of small hotel), tasty and fresh (the pancakes were made just on time)! And was also included in the price!
A simple but cozy place, very close to the center of Palekastro and great base to explore the east of Crete. The manager Nico was amazing and always super nice and helpful with us. There is a little but very well equipped kitchen, the room is clean, the bed confortable and the bathroom has all you need. If I'll be back to Palekastro I will return to Lagos
Most beautiful flat and most friendly people I ever met in Greece.
100% efficient, reliable, the kindest and most helpful I ever met in Greece.
The flat is really of a high standard, comparable to that of a 5-star hotel - Very beautiful, neat, clean. It felt almost like being in a palace hotel!!
They did not have everything (it is a small hotel) but everything they do have is very good quality. Fresh food, home-baked cake, lovely meze to go with a drink. Also, knowledgeable advise for things to do. And last but certainly not least: the friendliness of the two brothers who run the place!
We loved the terrace, the view, the garden full of olive trees, the proximity to Palekastro, the beaches, and most of all, the great communication with the wonderful host, Andrea. The space is a perfect base to explore the east of Crete, but also to find rest and calmness. 100% recommended!
Manos and Tonia were wonderful hosts! The room was large and comfortable and very clean. Manos helped us with booking a rental car and airport transfert too! Palekastro was a perfect base for tourism in eastern Crete.
Nice and clean play with good location unfortunately we got the room at the back of the hotel with the view of ruined parking lot and road with tiny balcony so it wasn’t a great place to spend your evening and relax
The hotel was exceptionally adorable and the staff and owners were wonderful. They greeted me personally each time and were very attentive. I enjoyed my stay and would love to come back!
