Great hotel.. AMAZING pool.. location a little out of the way... but if you do like a walk, there is an amazing locals beach about 30 mins walk away.. St Thomas' Beach. One thing to note is that rooms 601 and 602 are accessible rooms.. we were originally put in one of those... they don't have forest views.. it looks over the entrance driveway of hotel... and the bathroom is a wet room that floods... so unless you require an accessible I would not accept that room... thankfully were moved after one night and they refunded half the cost of the room via our expendables in the hotel. Brilliant restaurant close by called Denis... food really awesome and reasonable.

We loved our stay at Aria Apartments. It was very quiet/breathtaking mountain views from our apartment. Good location to visit the different areas. A wonderful very clean pool which was a bonus to swim before or after our outings. Quite a few places to eat locally if you didn't want to drive too far at night, Thalia the owner very friendly was on hand for anything you needed, tips to go places, etc. She was on site every day at some point. The garden area was very well looked after and as there is a small bar there were tables to sit out on an evening which was great! The whole vibe was very laid back and we will definitely visit Aria apartments again when we head back to Kefalonia

Wonderful bays, crystal clear water, nice and friendly people. Fantastic food. Everything worth seeing in the area, but for this, you have to spend at least 3 weeks here. :-)
You should definitely visit the Souvlaki Grill House, it is one of the best Grill House on Kefalonia. Very delicious food, large portions for a fair price....

It was a great location not too busy and a good walk to the beach - circa 30 minutes there and 45 minutes back, all uphill. Restaurant at beach Denis's was fab, Beach was really good and quite quiet.
To get around a car was necessary to see the island.

Very close location to the port for the ferry to Zakynthos, handy if you travel by ferry as we did. Quite area, with a lot of good restaurants; we recommend Maria's Restaurant in Peratata, which is not far away.
We stayed at Felix Residence, which is a beautiful location, with an elegant garden, swimming pool and view towards the sea from the hills.

Mousata is well placed to discover the island but you’ll need a car.
Trepazaki beach is walkable but not the best and a slog uphill in the heat.
Hire a car or use the bus to Lourdata.
Best bar after the beach on the way back is Platanos Cafe, great selection of bottled beers, say hi to Thornton the owner, been there 33yrs.

I find Mousata very good location on Kefalonia for visiting all the different places on the island. From there it's realy easy to get everywhere. If you enjoy dynamic vacation and not to be stuck in one place, Mousata is very good location.
