We stayed in one of the three studios rented in the building. All share a common patio with some tables and chairs, enough to accommodate the guests from all three studios. The patio is shady and pleasant at all times of the day. The kitchen is very well equipped, you could do some serious cooking there if you chose to. Our very hospitable host, Stylianos had water and other treats waiting for us in the fridge, he also brought some local watermelons and melons for all his guests. As he lives in the premises, he was around to solve any quarieis and answer all our questions. The Havouli beach is very close (5 minutes by car) and it is one of the very best beaches of Limnos, you should definitely try it at sunset!

The Military Museum was a very good introduction to the WW1 history of the area and the guide there was very helpful. New signage at sites of significance were also helpful. The local people were very friendly and accommodating.
