Location was very good, rooms are super clean and cleaned every day. You have to walk a small hill if you're coming from the marina but its not bad. The staff tho were not friendly at all, didn't help with anything and didn't even smile. You can probably find a better deal down at the marina.

The Location is perfect, away from any type hustle and bustle, not that there is much hustling and bustling going on on an island like Kefalonia. A minutes walk to a lovely little beach across the road. 10minute walk to an even bigger and just as lovely beach. I recommend you walk into the Capital Argostoli as there is a lovely picture opportunity on top of the hill. 45 mins max to walk there. The hotel grounds, the set up of the furniture and decor outside are flawless. The atmosphere is tranquil.

Our room with balcony and spa was very comfortable and spacious. The location was ideal for a few days of relaxation, being close to restaurants and overlooking the square. The view, from our top floor, across the bay was outstanding.

Immaculately clean rooms and comfortable beds. Nice view of the square and an amazingly tasty and varied breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath in the bathroom too. Staff were very professional and friendly and were immaculately presented in their uniforms.
Mantzavinata itself has not much to offer. Luckily theres a bigger city nearby, called Lixouri. Just a 5 minute drive by car. Theres also a very nice beach, called Xi. Its large and impressive in its own way. All in all the region is alright, nothing extraordinary. But great regions are not longer than an hour away by car. The car you will need , because public transport is very bad on the island. The rent for the car is very cheap though if you book it online and not by phone.
