nice small greek town …. easy to Access to all major points like ai giorgis etc etc and 10 min ride to alexandrapoli also you may use public transportation to reach there too …. very nice place also i do not remember the name but there is cafe while you are walking to the limanaki at the rigght side you will see label for entrance of a cave turn your head to right and up you will see the place …. great view great garden good loung music … whatelse do u need...

We stayed very close to Makri, in the Dikella village but we visited Makri several times. We found an excellent place to eat in the Makri port, the Filarakia tavern. We also recommend the Dervish tavern from the Dikella square, it has excellent food. In Makri we visited the Kyklopas oil mill that we liked a lot.
