Both apartments were excellent, very comfortable beds, sparkling clean bathrooms and very well equipped kitchen. The apartment was lovely, with all the necessary amenities for a long term stay. It is a 5-minute walk from the beach. The area is quiet and peaceful, away from the nearby villages. The owner was very kind and responsive. The apartment was cleaned regularly by a maid, which is rare for this type of accommodation. 11/10.

Amazing location, secluded quiet beach within few minutes walking down from villa.
hard to get to, from the road by car and walking down (not for easily scared drivers or anyone with problems walking few steep steps), but if it was easy then the beach would be crowded and not as amazing. So I hope the owner manages to keep it just as it is---simple and perfect!
Also the owner is extremely nice, helpful and knows very well the area.
Overall, a huge positive surprise to find such a quiet beautiful spot in summer within short drive from Athens.

Elaionas was very welcoming and informative. She was also very kind and offered to take care of our laundry. There was fruit water and basics as well as honey and jams. We had delightful views of both mountains and sea.

The apartment is located on the other side of the riverbed, about 4 minutes walk from the main street, in a quiet place surrounded by gardens. There is a convenient access to the center, but location itself is quiet and green. The apartment is beautifully decorated, stylish, very comfortable, with a large view terrace. Fully equipped, clean and with welcome refreshment left on the table. The hostess is lovely and extremely helpful. We were completely satisfied.

A wonderful location, though some of the residents might not be the sharpest. The area offers a plethora of delicious yet affordable food choices. The blend of mountains and sea gives this place a unique charm. Make sure to sample all dishes featuring eggplants.

Leonidio is a rock climbing place but it is also a lovely town. You need to go into the middle of the town to enjoy it, and it is not really near the sea. We prefered Poulithra which is just along the coast from Leonidio.

Leonidio is an attractive place for climbers and people who love the beach. It is also a great place for people who just look for a relaxing beautiful environment. The local people are VERY welcoming and warm. They will help you with anything you need. There are many options to walk in the area or take a short drive to the villages nearby. The smell of the orange and lemon trees is filling the air wherever you go. If you want to do some good you can volunteer to take stray dogs for a walk. The food is fresh and great and the cost is very reasonable. The narrow alleys are not easy to drive in but the local people have their way of dealing with that. They give a short honk at the beginning of each narrow road and the drivers are waiting for them to leave the alley so they can drive through it. This arrangement is so beautiful to see, they are so relaxed and kind to each other. The buildings are a mix of old and new but everything is SO CLEAN. There isn't a piece of paper on the ground. Make sure to have breakfast at the Kasseta bar and return later for a drink. Giannis is a the coolest kindest barman.
Check out the metal artist I missed. Loved Leonidio so much.....if you didn't get it by now :-)

Beautiful folklore small town where you can find everything from noisy cafes to complete isolation. Tasteful economic meals in Mouria Restaurant with traditional greek cuisine that we enjoyed a lot!!! Nice scenery, beautiful beach nearby, unique landscape. Driving to Leonidio is a bit hard after the town of Nauplio (around 80 kilometers) due to many curves but the result when arriving there makes it definitely worthwhile. Didn't spend enough time to be able to provide more details but the overall impression was very very good.

The friendliness and helpfulness of everyone we met were exceptional. The town has great fruit/veg shops, bakeries, butchers etc as well as two reasonably stocked supermarkets. The Rodomelo shop sold great local products and had a particularly friendly atmosphere. The Panjika Cooperative was particularly good for climbers with a modest equipment shop and a great cafe. As climbers interested in the lower end of the grade spectrum we found the local guidebook useful but rather undergraded, as pointed out in the Greece sport climbing guide.
This property is gorgeous. It is probably the most beautiful property in all of Leonidio. I wish I could live here forever. The staff is really welcoming and available to help with anything. The breakfast is fantastic - a huge array of options. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. I loved the window doors that shut out all the light and sound. I didn’t want to wake up in the morning to climb. The hotel is in a great location and close to the climbing. I stayed here for a week and will definitely be back for a longer stay!
I spend a great deal of time travelling and staying at hotels worldwide. It's rare to find a hotel like Archontiko Chioti that not only meets all the expectations I would have of a 5 star hotel, but also exceeds these. From the impeccable garden and pool area, the exceptionally maintained facilities, friendly and attentive stafff, I could not ask for more. I am looking forward to transiting through this hotel and village during my next business trip. It's definitely worth the drive from Athens.
Its a true gem in a beautiful Leonidio town!
Immaculately clean rooms and teritory, placed in a breathtaking location of the mountain town with 19th centuary original docorations of the rooms, but 21st centuary comfy beds and Guy Laroche robes. Breakfast is amazing and everyday a bit different. Staff makes you feel like home, especially Lena. She baked everyday a different desert, and some days it was only me and my husband. Super cozy five star boutique hotel! Best in Pelaponnese.
It was quiet and away from the crowds yet close enough to drive to Leonidio which is a lovely town and to the Plaka for a nice beach. The manager was gracious, welcoming, and helpful, despite the language barrier. The kitchen was well equipped and balcony had a lovely view of the sea and a great place to enjoy a meal. Although the rental is not updated, we liked the non-glitzy feel of it. Very good value.
The location is perfect and parking is possible in the garage and around the hotel.
For us the kitchen was well-equipped and we had a nice view to from our balcony.
The hosts are very helpful, super nice and friendly. They helped us with everything we needed. We always had nice talks and good laughs. This is definitely one thing we will miss about Leonidio and the nice holiday we had.
A group of friends and I did a rock climbing tour through Greece for a couple of weeks. We stayed in Leonidio a couple of days. Hands down this was and has been the best host in all our trips. They made us feel part of their family. We will always have Leonidio in our heart. The house is super cozy, close to a parking lot for cars, and close to the crags and restaurants.
Actually the hotel is with unison with Leonidion, fully contributes to the atmosphere of the town. The time has stop years ago, something that firstly was strange for us, but later we liked it so much. The room was very clean, quiet, enough wide, newly painted. Mosquito net. Very nice and comfortable balcony. Places for parking. Polite host.
The location was great. We were in the area for a family wedding.
Although many guests were staying at a large hotel, we wanted the privacy and spaciousness of an apartment. It was perfectly clean. Very quiet. The owner carried out heavy luggage on his shoulder to our room.
Balcony faced the water. Beach was a walk away.
The host Grigoria is the sweetest woman in Greece. She surprised us with delicious food she cooked for us 😋
The apartment is big, high ceilings, with plenty of natural light and a big balcony with unobstructed view of the mountains.
Everything two climbers need to rest, cook, and climb hard :)))
Thanks Grigoria!!
The flat, with nice stone walls, opens on a wide terrace. It is nested in the small streets of Leonidio. A discount is provided for a wonderful breakfast at a close-by luxury hotel. The host kindly called us beforehand to explain how to access the flat.
Extremely beautiful hotel!!!
I love the architectural style, the rustic look!!! Very friendly & helpful staff. Very high level of customer service. Very cosy and home-like feeling. Quiet and serene. Lovely breakfast!!!
Beautiful little hotel. Super clean. In a quiet area of Poulithra and 2 mins walk from the beach.
The staff was kind and very helpful. Breakfast was great with a lot of choice.
This hotel is really a little gem.
This hotel is beauuuutiful! We stayed one night, enjoyed the sauna and the patio, explored Leonidion (loved it), and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The hotel staff were the most friendly and helpful.
Really nice breakfast. Very helpful and pleasant staff. A very cute hotel with some amazingly atmospheric rooms. They were very accommodating when we wanted to stay an extra night.
Excellent place, warm and polite personnel, best breakfast ever had. The hotel is ideally located between the sea and Leonidio, highly recommended for families with kids and pets.
