I had no expectations from a place I have never been and have heard very little about Komotini. I was pleasantly surprised. A vibrant downtown with lots of cafes, eateries, shopping all reasonably priced and good quality.

I had the chance to visit family and to see a very nice town...
I had the chance to visit family and to see a very nice town. I enjoyed the view of the mountains that border Bulgaria, the pedestrian malls, the beautiful murals, the architecture, the churches and the mosques that are so much a part of Komotini. Worth a stop for a few days even if you don't know anyone in this town.
It was a perfect one night stay for our family. Everything was clean and spotless. Cleanliness was very important for us, and we were happy that everything was so clean here. The shower was a little bit small, but the water pressure was amazing, so there was nothing to complain about. Staff were attentive, and the location was perfect! We found an amazing small Greek restaurant just a few minutes away from the hotel and ate the best food ever!.
Will be returning back to this hotel on our next journey :)
- for us is a perfect place to spend the night on our way to Romania ( I don't know if there is something else to be done in Komotini )
- the room was clean and the beds are comfy
- there is small supermarket, a bakery and a coffee shop in maximum 2 minutes walking from the hotel ( perfect for a breakfast before going to our country )
- there is 6-7 minutes walk to the center where are all the important restaurants and bars
Saint George Rooms is a very nice hotel. I can give it a very positive recommendation. Konstadina, the receptionist and manager, is very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. The hotel is comfortable, clean, and quiet. It is in a good location, about a five minute walk from the center of town. The breakfast offers a good variety of food. And the beds are quite comfortable.
I had an incredible stay at the guesthouse in Komotini, with its peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking mountain views. Greg, the host, was exceptionally kind and hospitable, allowing us to use the barbecue and treating us to the delicious tomatoes from his garden. I highly recommend this lovely retreat for a relaxing getaway.

Commencing with the positive aspects, it can be stated that the lodging establishment in question ranks among the good accommodations available in Komotini. The restaurant located within the hotel premises is regarded as one of the good dining establishments in Komotini.
It was nice and clean, close to the city centre, lot of restaurants and nice places nearby. The receptionist is helpful and the elevator is working too. We could hop in- and out in restricted area just in front of the hotel to carry in and out our luggage.
The apartment was clean, the location really good and the host friendly. Overall it's a great place at fair value to stay in Komotini. Near the center of the city with many pubs around and a great Mpougatsa shop just around the corner.
