It is not our first stay at Kerkini Houses, but this time we came with friends and they enjoyed it just as much as we did! Our host was amazing - very kind and very responsive. When we found out that we need one more bed for a child in one of the houses, she immediately arranged this. She also arranged a boat trip on the lake for us, which was the highlight of our stay in Kerkini - the kids were really impressed by the pelicans we saw from so close! One should really stay longer to be able to make the most of the visit - have more time to relax on the balcony, ride a bike, walk around the lake. All is easily accessible on foot, there are also some very good restaurants in the village and a supermarket.

The house does exactly what promised. It is a house at the village central square, it was clean and could accomodate 6 persons and a baby with ease. In general for it's price, it's a real gem. The high population of storks in that time of the year was a bonus !

Those houses are in country side with beautiful nature, they are made for family rest! The owners are so kind and helpful, I highly recommend this accomodation to all the families with kids (they can see the stork nests, horses and beautiful nature all arround)
The room (I went for a superior studio) was excellent. Really nicely done with comfy bed, kitchenette, obviously ensuite, and plenty of space. It was also very clean. The surroundings are nice and you are very close to the lake - although you need to walk down the road that runs alongside the lake to get to it. The lady who effectively runs it day-to-day, Vasileia is brilliant. You're also quite close to the village of Kerkini (5 min drive) where there are several good tavernas and a decent mini-super market + cafe.
We were very pleased with our stay at Kerkini Houses. House Nr 1 looks to be newly renovated and well decorated making the house very cozy and homey. The kitchen was a great feature and there were even supplies for coffee and tea.
The location is quiet, has covered parking, and is close to the Mandraki port for taking boat tours on the lake.
The host was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

We liked everything about Kerkini Houses! The individual houses are located in a bigger and common yard, having also parking available. The rooms were really clean, well equipped with anything you'd need.
Even though our stay was short, we would definitely come back here. The owner is really nice and helpful.

The hotel was very clean, the bedroom big enough for a family of 4 with a very big double bed. The hotel is decorated with lot of wood, like a mountain chalet, and is very well located to discover the surroundings. they also

The mountains and Lake Kerkini are near (but it depends how much time you have and which season you get there. In some periods there should be even flamingos and pelicans on the lake).
Amazing hotel with very nice staff. We arrived late and they wait us and didn't close the restaurant. The room makes you feel like you are in the medieval movie, so cool! :) Breakfast was so delicious with many available options, good expresso and nice terrace for relaxing! Highly recommend this hotel and for sure I will come back! Thank you.

The place is convenient to get a stop & rest after crossing the border from Bulgaria in Promachonas.
The lake is great for birdwatching and it's a good idea to spend a day to ride the bicycle around the lake.
There is not enough words in my vocabulary to describe the experience at Cozy Room Kerkini. We were just positively surprised with every single thing. I can't describe the wormth of the hosts, beauty and cozyness of the appartment, the energy you could feel,.. We just felt like home. I would recommend it to everyone!!
The host was very friendly and ready to provide assistance. The house was very comfortable with two bedrooms, perfect for a family. They provided free bicycles for a lake visit. The location was perfect with easy access to the points of interest around Lake Kerkini. The price of the house was very satisfactory.

We got an extremely nice apartment and the hosts gave us a good list of really nice sites to visit. They even helped us organise a boat trip on the Kerkini Lake for watching birds (a must do when in the Kerkini region)
