I arrived tired and frustrated after a long day of travel plane/train/bus/taxi. The taxi driver was very aggressive not knowing where the hotel was and communication was an issue. It was the only time I felt unsafe. The hotel staff were brilliant, they were very friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous, comfy bed, clean facilities. I enjoyed my stay there.

The complex was really lovely. The room was very big, well equipped and cosy. The bed was huge and so comfortable. It had a nice balcony with a view.
It was peaceful even though it had a busy road at the front, the rooms are set back so you cannot hear the traffic. There were parking bays at the front of the hotel too.

This hotel is in a nice quiet location but convenient to restaurantsand shops and a short walk to the harbor. You can tell there is a lot of care and attention given to the place. The balcony was big, and a real plus to the room. Highly recommended!

Excellent and huge bed. Nice balcony overlooking the castle.
George and Maggie were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and they anticipated our every need. Most of the time they went over and above what was required.
The facilities and the cleanliness without fault. We had two people and up to nine people at different times.
It is a must stay.
