The vicinity of the airport, when you arrive in the night you can easily find the hotel, the reception desk is open 24/7 and the day as well as the night staff is pleasant and helpful. If you have a room with seaview as we had, you can spot planes from your balcony or even from the bed. The noise of the planes is not disturbing, you can sleep well. Breakfast was very pleasant on the terrace near the pool, is served 7-10, but we were offered some refreshment even earlier.

I have no words to describe how fantastic was our stay at the hotel! It is exceptional in everything, from chiс and modern design with attention to every little detail to luxurious quality of service. Staff is super friendly and they literally go above an beyond to ensure that you have the best experience while staying at their hotel and they really enjoy that! You feel like you are welcomed there. Amazing feeling! The food is very delicious and served with style - pure enjoyment for a taste and for an eye. We expected this place to be amazing but it even exceeded our already high expectations If paradise exists that would be this place!

Really little city, you can find food, and markets, go to the beach and that really is all. Would recommend going to Heraklion nearby and the whole island for a week stay. (Didn't try the Minoan Experience tho)

Karteros is a lovely small village right by a number of beautiful beaches, it has all the essential facilities you could need and is within a short bus ride away from the city of Heraklion. However, though small, it is a very busy place (when we went, last 2 weeks of June) that is very popular with the locals, especially teenagers accessing the beach facilities and so the bus to Heraklion can get extremely full between 5pm and 7pm.
This place is magical ! Once you come you always want to return and stay here again ! The rooms are amazing , big, nicely decorated, sparkling clean and has everything that you need 😊 Mrs Anna is a great host and helps you with anything you need for your stay in Crete ! If you are a horse lover, you can even book your ride to the beach, karteros dump or even take a class with Mrs. Marianna that she is the best coach! You can also have a drink, coffee or have something to eat at the cafeteria! I recommend it 100%
It’s an amazing, modern hotel with all the amenities. The smart room features and personal concierge service are a nice touch. The heated private pool was fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and joyful as possible, even organizing a wine tour for us in a nearby vineyard. The food was excellent, the bar offered wonderful signature cocktails and local craft beers. The luxury spa with massage and sauna was deeply relaxing.
Recently opened and still pristine, the resort has good design and facilities. The private pool for our room was big enough to take a few strokes (it was bigger than the average). Staff were very friendly and the restaurants were excellent - we particularly liked breakfast in the main restaurant and dinner in the Cretan restaurant. The village of Karteros is nothing special, but Knossos is about 15 minutes away by car.
You can walk to Karteros beach good , or by car or bus go to more far away beautiful beaches or beach bars at nights. I have booked just 2 nights but I stayed till the end of my vacay. Although place is still in improving phase owner and stuff are friendly and extremely helpful. Having breakfast and dinner in garden while chatting with other guests was beautiful experience.
Great discovery ! Great location, not far from the airport, fantastic pool. The residency is so calm, but transports are nearby (bus literally 4 min away). Karteros' main street provides food and little super markets or beach bar, so everything you need is there. It is possible to go in Heraklion center still. The hotel lets you rent a car and serves drinks.
We really appreciated the late-night airport pickup and the bus station drop-off for reasonable fees. The location is great. We took bus 7 or 12 to Heraklion for 1.50 each way. Karteros Beach nearby. Room, bathroom, and kitchen were great. Washing machine was great too. Air-conditioning was excellent. Wonderful stay!
Giorgos is an excellent host; friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. The property is very clean and just a 3-minute walk from the beach. It has a restaurant and parking. It's a quick drive from the airport.

An ideal place for our cycling group to relax on the beach and fly home the next day. Breakfast was very good, you can say the best during our trip, because most of the time we lived in hotels without breakfast or campsites, or in nature.
The setting is wonderful. It’s a sophisticated. new hotel. Great staff. I saw some negative reviews but I found the for a buffet the chef really does his best. The only negative thing was the overpowering air freshener at the entrance.
