We had great time in Melia Sol Art Studios. The hotel is super cozy and stylish. The rooms were big, very comfortable and the view was just stunning. Ilenia was a great host. She helped us with everything during our stay, shared restaurant recommendations on the island and the best beaches. We feel like we have a home in Chios! :) Also as a bonus, we had the chance to see Ilenia's lovely art pieces in the hotel.

Mr. Yannis and his lovely daughter Ana Maria are great hosts. They are very sincere,very friendly and smile all the time:) I love them very much :) Angelica studios is located 10 minutes by walk to the beach, nearest restaurants and bars. It is an amazing view, sunset , full moon, even though windy times are still fabulous I felt like my home. Once again, thank you very much for your precious gift :)

We liked the beach that we could walk to. The free sun beds if you eat in the restaurants. It wasn't too busy or crowded. The bus service was good to the capital. A relaxed and friendly resort.
There was lots of interesting places to visit in the Island.

If you can swim in the sea - if there are no jellyfish - the sea and the beach are nice and sufficient, but Karfas is a very small city and inadequate. It is much more logical to stay in Chios and travel around by car and make day trips.

Karfas is a pleasant & quiet settlement, there are taverns, shops and a very nice beach. You can get free sun beds from the local taverns by just ordering something from them. There are plenty of streets and alleys and you can walk around.

Chios is an amazing island full of history, great beaches, wonderful family friendly people and amazing food. There are no tourist traps, the entire island is safe, so much so that people leave their cars and bourses I locked. I had an amazing time and the beaches at Karfas are sandy, with shallow calm turquoise water. Amazing place to be.
The room was enormous and had good airconditioning. The balcony was large and contained clothes airer. The WiFi connection was perfect as there was an access point in the room. The hotel has free underground parking, which is an excellent service especially for summer. One remark: Not every room in the hotel is handicapped accessible, so be sure to inform the hotel in advance if you have such a need.
I’d like to recommend to both families and couples who would like to goto Chios. The owner of the hotel - George is amazing guy. Although it was my fifth visit to Chios, he helped me to discover new amazing locations in the island. And we listened to old greek music together. Fantastic. As we hate open buffet, hotels breakfast was very good for us. We were served very delicious things.
We stay only Karatzas At Chios .It was our first hotel at Chios now become 6th at these June.Stayed at Seaview Rooms and Side Seaview Rooms.All was good.Rooms always very clean.Hotel at beach and very good Restaurant serving not only Tourists but local people.There are near other restaurants and markets for shopping and big Markets like Lidl & My Market at 5 km distance.
Steps away from Karfas beach. The suite was updated, clean, comfortable with a view of the sea. Nicely outfitted with a kitchen with working appliances. The bed and pillows were very comfy it was lovely falling asleep and waking up to waves rolling to shore. The owners are lovely hosts. They recommended a car rental locally who brought the car to us and picked it up.
Every where was smelling summer . The beach was very close and we had the chance for our first swimming.We had a room at the first floor with a big balcony and we enjoyed the whole area up to the Aegaen sea and also to the Turkish . Every thing in the room was fixed in the smallest detail and the owner of the hotel very familiar with us !!!
Excellent hospitality, very friendly people, they couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended hotel and location. Great place to explore the island. We only stayed for 5 days however we should have stayed longer as the island of Chios is a gem. Wonderful beaches, great food, a great place to relax.

I had an amazing stay at Solia Mel - which was a very random, last-moment booking. So lucky to have found a hotel which was perfect in every aspect: from the stunning location and the hospitable to host to the complimentary Korreas toiletries. Cannot recommend it more!
Staff was very helpful, property locates near Karfas beach-just walking distance. There is a market nearby where you can buy your needs. Propert was extremely well decorated and all necessary tools were ready. It has great sea view as well. Thanks for great experince!

The double bed was big enough and confortable . The place is so special with a fantastic view . The view is the best for the whole area of KARFAS and the location is so close to the center . We enjoyed our staying indeed .

The location is great. Having a beach right in front of the hotel is very convenient especially if you have kids. The breakfast was really good. We liked the a la carte restaurant as well.
The owner of the hotel Ilenia was incredibly helpful. The room was really clean and had a nice balcony with view. I also loved the small kitchenette, we prepared our breakfasts at hotel.
Overall I really spacious and very clean hotel that is super close to really cute cafés and restaurants and the beach is just a three minute walk away. An excellent choice for the area!
