Bay Apartments - Kalami by Sunvil, hotel in Kalámi

The View from the balcony was amazing ( you can see the little bay with the boats and beach and sea). We had breakfast and dinner on balcony and it was great having that view. We didnt leave the place in a hurry to get to the beach. It was very close to the beach and restaurants, and little groceries shops. Another thing we liked is that most of the people were mid age therefore really chill.

Such a hidden gem! The view is spectacular, the staff are really accomodating and friendly, we had an issue with our car rental with another company and the hotel quickly saved the day and organised a rental through them for immediate pick up! The location is brilliant and I could not recommend this hotel more! It’s beautiful, such good value for money!

Hotel Yannis Corfu, hotel in Kalámi

The traditionally built Hotel Yannis Corfu is located in Ipsos village, just 100 metres from the beach and the resort centre.

Our stay at this 3-star hotel was surprisingly wonderful. In fact, I dare say it rivaled a 5-star hotel I visited in Corfu (I'll spare you the name). The breakfast was satisfactory, creating a homely and tranquil atmosphere throughout the hotel. The pool, boasting a picturesque view, was impeccably maintained. The staff were incredibly polite, making our overall experience here quite delightful. Very very memorable experience!! Thank you Hotel Yannis

Situated in Kassiopi, 300 metres from Kogevina Beach, Katia Beach Hotel features accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

We loved the overall chill atmosphere/attitude. We stayed longer than originally planned and got a bigger room later on. The apt we got was simply awesome with an amazing view of the sea. The location is great too, especially if you have a car. The best place we stayed in in all of Corfu.

Kalami is ideal if you want a quiet relaxed holiday.

Kalami is ideal if you want a quiet relaxed holiday. Only 4 restaurants to choose from. The White House has got expensive & the bar near the beach that belongs to the hotel. Enjoyed eating out at Kalami Beach Bar brilliant Greek night there. Also Thomas’s is good. More advertising is needed for boat trips, someone is missing a trick not thinking about offering safari trips around Corfu from Kalami. Miss Cocktail’s & Dreams that used to be at the Hotel & missed the entertainment.

Kalami is a quiet village set in a picturesque bay.

Kalami is a quiet village set in a picturesque bay. It has a number of good Tavernas and bars - our favourite was Thomas’ Place. The village has two well stocked supermarkets. The neighbouring bays of Agni and Kouloura are easily walkable but there is also a water taxi service available from the jetty in the bay. There is also a bit of literary history in the village as you can eat (as long as you like fish) in the White House a former home of writer Laurence Durrell.

The villa, Dimitri's Luxury Cottage IS NOT IN KALAMI - it is in VINGLA, which is up high in the hills behind Kalami - via difficult switchback roads. Kalami itself is lovely and is the nearest beach to the cottage. Not too touristy with just a few small taverna's and sunbeds. Good local supermarket and fish shop. Local people helpful and friendly.

Kalami - if you like tavernas and seats on the beach with parasols there are plenty. The tavernas are nice and good ambience. There are quieter coves along the coast and wildlife on the walks was really interesting. Its got a gentle hubbub vibe, and people come back time and again. Everyone seemed to migrate to Thomas' Place to eat, and that was good but you have to be more organised than we are and book! Agni is a short walk along the coast and there are more tavernas there too if you want a change of view. Lovely place really. the boats are a bit hit and miss, but part of the fun, and I would hire a boat another time which looked good to do. There are a LOT of boats!

Beach, beach activities and restaurants and super markets are very good, the village itself looks a bit run down, most probably because after the pandemic there wasn’t any money left to invest in renovating old houses.

The property was very clean on arrival which was very late at night. Milk in the fridge, coffee and sugar and a bottle of wine were all provided. Barbara the host was amazing, always available should any problems arise. She wouldn't even let us clean the property on our departure day. Great outdoor space with tables and chairs and sun loungers. Situated in the middle of Kalami, its right opposite Super Mario's shop which provides anything you need. 1 minutes walk to the beach. We will definitely be returning to Villa Matella 😀

we needed a 1 night stay. I had visited Kalami previously and was aware it's a beautiful well serviced bay. we prepaid for the accommodation so simple drove to kalami. the key was left in the door to apartment 3. no fuss checking in whatsoever. inside were two bedrooms, shower room & kitchen (with a washing machine) all were serviceable. the bedrooms featured air conditioning. the balcony had spectacular views over the bay. further up the hill is a swimming pool with sunbeds. this made for a sensational sunset swim.

The balcony has a superb view over the sea and Kalami Beach. The apartment is spacious with great history of Gerald Durrell. The pool is a short walk of 2 mins that also has tremendous views. There are good restaurants nearby, Thomas's Place was a particular favourite. The White House restaurant was absolutely superb in all aspects but you do pay for it. A great family apartment in a superb setting all overseen by Joy who was a charming and helpful host.

Our apartment was furnished and decorated very tastefully and has everything you need. Everything is nicely maintained. The pool (and balcony) had great views and was refreshing. The apartments are nice and quiet and relaxing on a quiet road. Down the hill to agni beach there are 3 tavernas and a snack/drinks bar. It is possible to walk to kalami beach along the coast path. Short drive to other beaches/areas and to supermarkets.

Despite that the hotel is closing by the end of this month everything was perfect. Our room was very nice and clean with view to Kalami bay. Breakfast was delicious and staff very attentive to the detail. We've also had a dinner to Callao beach bar restaurant which was absolutely perfect. Unfortunately we could stay only one night !
