The views from the villa were amazing. The place was really well located and the villa was comfortable and clean. Dimitris and his sister were so welcoming. The breakfasts were fantastic.

Istron itself is a small town with some conveniences like...
Istron itself is a small town with some conveniences like ATM, tavernas etc. We stayed there not because we wanted to be in this particular town but because of the access it gave is to the surrounding area. With a car we could easily reach many beautiful beaches, ancient villages in the mountains, Ag Nicholas for history, churches etc. and some genuine Greek restaurants, mainly in villages. It is a good central point for many things that interest us.

Istron is a lovely place to stay with fantastic beaches and very friendly people. It is not an overly lively resort but has enough for older teens (Palace Bar was great and had lovely cocktails too and Friends had live music on some nights). It is also a great location to explore more of the island

If you want to relax soak up good food people and sandy beaches then stay for months on end. Car is always great to move around and get further out to towns like leopetra. There are nice restaurants all around the town and beyond. Never felt like I was short of choices and this trip was during April which many places close until the season.

We were there for the last week of the season (late Oct) so the hotel was half full and quiet, not sure what it would be like in high season, but we had a great time!
Great location, good private beach, terraces, gardens and a great swimming pool alternative. Beautiful views. The food in the hotel was amazing - we had a breakfast and dinner deal which was perfect for us. Breakfast was a buffet with good choices every day. The evening meal was 4 courses - all delicious cretan food and different every night - we would consider staying here again just for the food! They also had a great selection of cretan wine - very well chosen - all delicious.
Our room was simple and functional - perhaps more 'basic' than we were expecting. The double bed was (of course) two singles pushed together which wasn't so good. The wifi in the room was non existent - this could not be addressed, so we had to use the wifi in the bar (3 floors up). They should get this right for all rooms or make it clear that there is no wifi.
Ending on a positive...we found all staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful, with 'good enough' to excellent English (our Greek is terrible..).
We had a lovely stay and would go back.
We had a great time in Istron. The location is perfect:
- 3min from Voulisma beach and other amazing small bay beaches.
- 12min by car from Agios Nikolaos.
- very nice & traditional villages around 15-30min ( Kritsa, Kroustas, etc).
- next to the rooms there is a mini market that the owner runs, which is extremely convenient for daily stuff you need.
The apartment is new, fully equiped & comfortable (washing maschine, iron available).

The communication with Christina was always easy and she was really attentive.
The host Ioanna made our stay unforgettable and we felt like at home. One of the things that we loved was when Ioanna brought us some figs of her own tree for the first breakfast!
The appartment is clean and has everything you need for a perfect stay: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room and we had a nice balcony with a view to the sea.
If you want to feel at home in Crete don’t hesitate to stay at Pellas Appartment.
Late check in was available. Perfect location to stop for the night if your are exploring eastern Crete and you need a place to stay between elounda and sitia.
The only limitation of breakfast was the unavailability of any coffee other than the typical machine concentrated coffee that all hotels have. The staff was very helpful and smily.
Apartments are situated in very nice quiet place, every night we slept with the sounds of the sea. Rooms are with a nice view to the sea. Everything that we need hosts left for us in apartments. We felt like at home. Very important thing is that the most beautiful beaches on Crete are there, 5-10 minutes from apartments
Rich dinner positions, sea really close to hotel, service, location, the bay, closeness to the town with other beaches, tavernas, shops. Petros, who speaks Russian and is familiar with Russian mentality, and keeps the polite distance while being communicable, made the stay more comfortable for me.
The villa was spotlessly clean with a lovely salt water pool. The wonderful staff were beyond helpful and made us so welcome. All of the locals were very friendly, especially Dimitris the manager of the villas, he’s possibly the nicest man on Crete.

We can fully recommend this accommodation. The place is nice and cozy and Daphne, the hotel manager, is extremely sweet and kind and we were welcomed in a way we immediately felt at home. Check in and enjoy your holiday 😊
Everything was good. The hoste is very attentive and friendly. The premises are clean and spacious. Very nice view to the Mirabello Bay. Convinient location for exploration of the Eastern part of Crete.
Magnificent views over the bay and across to the mountains. Lovely patio to eat out and enjoy the views. Marina was friendly and welcoming. She brought us cake and dinner on the last night!
The hotel is 1 km walking from the closest village but it is not very bad. It is a beautiful walking at day light.
The bad was too soft for us and the shower was weak and not warm enough.
The property had a beautiful view of Istron bay. Our studio apartment was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed our terrace with the views every night.

Well, the view is very nice. It's a beautiful bay in Crete, only for this hotel. The sea water is calm, there are not many people around you and the sea experience is nice.
This is by far the best place to stay in Istron, friendly People, very clean and new villa.
I amost forgot, The views are breathtaking!
