This is a lovely location for a family holiday. There are good facilities nearby (bakery, cafe, mini market, etc) while also Antirio is about 10 minutes drive from this area, and Nafpaktos is only 15 minutes drive on the opposite direction where you have a plethora of super markets, taverna and up-market restaurants, cafes, retail shops, etc. Furthermore, you can find some amazing places nearby (within say half hour to 1 hour drive) like the city of Patras, historic town of Mesolloggi and its lagoon, picturesque Galaxidi, Amfissa (home of 'spooky carnivals' the only town in Greece that has a Halloween type of carnivals unlike the rest of Geece when carnivals are more like a Brazilian-style fiesta), town of Agrinio, etc.
