The hotel is located in the tourist centre of Alikanas village - so it is close to all interesting places like restaurants, shops and beach. The biggest surprise was the nice aesthetic and comfort of the room - especially beds, we really loved sleeping on them! The staff was also helpful, they printed us the boarding passes and told hints about what to do around while staying here.

A very warm and friendly welcome was received from Nikos on our arrival. Asked us to make ourselves comfortable in the bar, provided us with a drink and then we completed the booking in process. Very relaxed and efficient.
We were the first visitors of the season and were unexpectedly upgraded to a beautiful suite which included our own pool. The suite was very well appointed and we loved it, and very tastefully decorated. Ioanna has very good taste and has made the accommodation so homely. The bed was very comfortable too and the best shower we have had in Zakynthos and we have visited 20 plus times!
As we stayed out of season, a very limited amount of tavernas were open, Nikos kindly offered to cook us a meal so that we did not have to go and find somewhere open. It was a very delicious meal and was something they would eat at home and was not on the menu.
We ate breakfast there every morning and many times in the evening as although the menu is not vast, the specials they cook are fresh and of a very high quality.
Nikos and Vasilis cannot do enough for you and I would highly recommend this accommodation. We will be visiting again.

Exo Chora is a small traditional Greek village. It is not a conventional tourist location and that's its attraction. It's quiet, friendly and has only a small mini-mart and a taverna close to the village's claim to fame - a 2000 year old olive tree. From Exo Chora it's easy by car to get to the numerous tavernas that specialise in offering views of the spectacular sunsets. The most famous of these is The Cross - booking highly advised. If you don't like heights, you should perhaps give this one a miss. Exo Chora is also close to Porto Vromi Maries from where you can take the boat tour of the Blue Caves - certainly worth doing. The larger village 5 minutes South of Exo Chora is Agios Leon and here you can find a bakery, a larger market and 4 or 5 tavernas.
