The location was lovely, out of the most touristy part of Sougia but close enough to quickly drive down for a meal or to buy supplies. We were hiking the Agia Irini Gorge and it was very conventient for that.
The boutique hotel Libyan Princess is located in Paleochora, also known as the Nymph of the Libyan Sea. It offers superior guest rooms, an outdoor pool, a gym and on-site parking.

Small and quiet village but a great location if you are planning to embark on a hike along Agia Irini Gorge. We stayed in Poroforaga Tavern, just opposite the entrance to the gorge, which was comfortable and convenient.
