George and Julia clearly have an eye for detail because everything in Casa Charma was spotless and to perfection. Exactly what we were hoping, for for a quaint, cozy stay during the festive period. The traditional beds, comfortable bathroom, well stocked & equipped kitchen, and brick fireplace were just some of the features that made our stay so pleasant. The hospitality was simply superb and very characteristic of the Greek way of welcoming people into a home.

Owners and staff are veeeeery friendly, kind, professional and provide excellent personal service to their guests. A restaurant is a central spot for the local community - so you know you are eating the freshest food, with the local's favourite owners :)
Situated at the town square, restaurant terrace provides excellent view of local farmers bringing fresh fruit, fish and produce to restaurants and stores every morning. Quaint little town with wonderful locals, very close to several beaches and interesting towns to visit. Tip: rent a moped or a car to experience the island ;)

The beach is just across the road.. fantastic. Being a fresh mom I could not imagine better setup to relax. Baby is sleeping in the airconditioned room while I'm having my coffee next door in the restaurant or laying in the shadow reading my book with the sound of the waves in the background. The breakfast is so complete that we were enjoying it long in the morning sun. It was a perfect match for our actual life status. Very quiet and relaxing and also our favorit kite spot is just kinda next door.

This is an amazing small village with still a lot to do.
This is an amazing small village with still a lot to do. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping possibilities, and the best for most people is a street full of wine-tasting shops. You can buy there the best wine, olive oil, and other local products. The people are really heartwarming and friendly.
The location is also really good. With a car, you can go in every direction at almost the same time because you're in the center of the Island. And the most spectacular is the view over the mountains and the sea

Embonas is a very friendly village with a well-deserved reputation for gastronomy. We ate out several times in different tabernas and always had a wonderful experience. The locals were extremely kind and welcoming.
Although it is not directly on the sea it is not to far to go to get to a beach and it has the added bonus that everywhere on the island is less than 70 minutes drive away - it is a perfect base for exploring the island.

Rhodes (not just Embonas) is a fantastic place to visit. There is plenty of history and some magnificent sights, provided you expect to travel around the island. It could be seen in detail in 10 days - our 14 days was just slightly too long.

embonas is world class. we have stayed there twice. Rustic House must be in the top Appartments on the Island. Jennys wine bar the Creperi are all superb. The villagers are very friendly and the wines top class. the owner of Rustic house and the hotel is absolutely brilliant. I can highly recomend it see u nextyear

Embonas has shops, bars, cafes, restaurants, bakery, gym, hairdressers, crepes etc so lots of facilities. I like to think a true Greek experience. Less commercial. Wonderful local products to sample and buy. Other villages nearby to explore. The lovely mountain smells. We met real Greek people and had a wonderful time
