The view from the property, i believe, was the best view you could have in elafonisos. Our room was very clean and we had room service everyday with clean towels. Free parking. The owner was very kind and polite and she was always offering coffee and something to eat. Great experience overall. I recommend it 100%.

We were lot of greek place, island. There is the most beautiful small island. There are the best beaches, lighting blue sea, cristal clear water, waterworld, fishes, white sand beaches. One word: amazing. We had been two times, and I think we will go back next year.

The place is so incredible and I am empty for words: a real hidden gem off the beater track. The most beautiful beach I’ve seen in my life ever was Paralia Simos: so picturesque and I fell in love with it’s turquoise waters, almost like a color of Powerade. No crowds of tourists and rather Greeks coking there. As a result prices are more reasonable than in other more touristy places. I rented a bike on battery and every single point on the island became accessible within 15 minutes. Recommended to everyone who would like to discover and almost undiscovered place in Greece.

Favorite place was definitely Simos beach in the morning, it's just a paradise.
Great choice of tavernas by the port, very lively in the evenings.
You need a car to explore the island, or a bike if you can tolerate the heat in the high season.
Elafonisos is absolutely worth visitig!

You can hire bicycles to get around
to other beaches as there are no taxis (not sure about a bus, didn’t see one) The camping ground is amazing, amenities super clean
you can even rent rooms not just tents and not expensive at all.
Plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from

I traveled with my friend to the island of Elafonisos for pleasure. Elafonisos is located at the Southeastern tip of the Peloponnese, close to Kythira. We stayed for 4 days at the "Elafonisos Mare Hotel" and had a wonderful experience. The crystallized sea and golden sand are ideal for a quick excursion! There are many taverns with amazing seafood and many vegetarian options if you like. Small island but full of taste, wonderful beach views, peaceful and absolutely relaxing!

Really a charming lovely place.
Really a charming lovely place. Very quiet even in high season. One can really relax and enjoy nature. The beaches are insane, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in front of the sea (although everything would seem expensive compared to mainland Greece).
Our stay at Nikko's apartment was enjoyable. The condo was comfortable, and clean and looked even better than the booking images. Having a parking space was very important since we visited Elafonisos by car. The location was good, and since the island is small, everything was within walking distance except for Simos Beach, which is about a 7-8 minute drive away. We stayed here for three nights, and there was no daily cleaning or towel change. I wonder if that is the case for more extended stays.
The location is perfect just on the front of the main village pomenade, fantastic view from the balcony, close to everything and yet quiet and private. The apartment is very comfortable, has everything one may need on holiday and more. The host Irene could not do enough to make our stay most comfortable, she was super helpful and very pleasant to deal with. If I come back to Elafonisos I would not hesitate to book this superb apartment again. Thank you Irene!
Everything was great for a 3 star rated facility. The precautions that management took in this Covid period stood out. Impressed with their approach to develop an inline breakfast order form to avoid crowds at buffet table. Breakfast was delivered to room on requested time.

Excellent place to stay and enjoy Elafonisos. Kalomoira is lovely and she will make you feel at home. When we arrived we had a lot of food at the room with no extra cost and everyday she surprised us with some baked sweet and breakfast. The place it's also in a good location close to the restaurants and shops and by the road to get to the beaches.
My mother loved the hotel! It was clean and tidy with a lot of plants and a lovely swimming pool. The staff was really nice and welcoming. Vasiliki helped my mom with the places to eat and were to go. The beach was so beautiful and generally the island was beautiful and welcoming!
Very friendly and helpful staff - Nikos met us at the ferry and guided us to the hotel. Ample and easy parking. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Very clean and nice rooms, one of them with great sea vue. Perfect location on the beach, nice and cozy coffebar just in front of the hotel. Nice staff, Maddalena is really nice and welcoming. Forget your car and your shoes!!
The location of the house is really good and on the outside, the house is beautiful. The beach is near and there is a big yard and a terrace with a table and chairs. It's really nice when you want to have dinner outside.

Wonderful hosts, Nena and George made as feel like we visited our own family. Great room with all you need a few steps from the port and all the restaurants. Beautiful Simos beach 5 min drive by the car.
Super nice staff on the hotel, the housekeeping was on point, the room was really clean and smelled like heaven, and the pool was overall clean. Would like to see a few umbrellas at the pool.
The beach in front is very nice, 5 min walk. Balcony is great although is missing the cover from the sun. We didn't use the breakfast option.
