The location was superb! Centrally located, easy access to msny destinations. Breakfast wad decent and the staff extremely polite.

there was no breakfast on Easter Sunday, although we were given a goodie bag with tsourekki and eggs, very nice gesture!

The staff were helpful and the wifi was excellent. The location is perfect if you need to catch an early morning ferry. The downside of this convenience is that it is very apparent when the ferries come in. You will hear them so you won't be late at the harbour. This is a budget option and excellent value for money.

Clean and beautiful room with all amenities. Mr Giorgos informed me about everything (restaurants, villages, beaches) and he found me a car in a very good price. The location is calm and there are shops next to the Hotel such as mini market and a grocery. The breakfast is very good.

Loaction is excellent. There are lots of options to eat, drink and chill. Also it was at sea side and it gives you a great view and opportunities.
We always enjoy Chios. We go there as the authorised dealer for our motorcycle is based there. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and lively cafes and bars. As our motorcycle was being serviced, we didn't leave Chios town on this occasion though we do like to go to Mesta for coffee and icecream!

At first Chios town seems very noisy.
At first Chios town seems very noisy. We only stayed one night but had another afternoon waiting for our ferry home. The second time was much better. We found a nice square with a café and 2 mesodopolia just inside the old town walls.

Chios is a little gem in eastern Aegean sea. I was surprised.
It has some nice beaches for swimming but if you choose it you choose Chios for its architecture, historic stone buildings of Thiamiani stone and landscape. Not mention the masticha tree :)

I spent only two days in Chios on my way by ferry from...
I spent only two days in Chios on my way by ferry from Athens to Turkey. The first day was spent exploring the town and the second, the country side to the north onboard the green bus. For only 5 euro I enjoyed an amazing four hour adventure traversing winding mountain roads, stopping at remote villages located in spectacular and beautiful landscapes. I wish that I had at least another day to explore more of wonderful Chios.

Chios is not the most touristic of Greek islands, but it has kept its authenticity. We appreciated the huge cultural variety: from archaeology to Byzantine relics (Nea Moni is exceptional), over Genovese Kampos or the absolutely unique Masticha villages. Boat trip to Oinousses is very much rewarding too, the North is absolutely worth paying a visit of one day. Kanaris Tours is a very good option for trips, taxis are cheap and hunderd percent reliable. The food in Chios town is of high quality.

I loved the history of the island, the very friendly people and the variety of beaches both quiet and busy. Travelers who drive on the right are not so easy to travel around by car. Safer and maybe cheaper for a couple to visit the island with day tour buses.
The flat has everything you need during your vacation.Towels shampoo conditioner toothpaste toohtbrush slippers wifi so on.The kitchen was enough for cooking.Laundry and drying machine was available.It was clean enough.Thanks for the sweet gifts wine and chocolates.Air conditioner and hot water is okey.The flat is located City centre.We dont neeed to get in car for shopping or having meal.We had great times in Chios and the flat was a good choice for my family.Thanks for your kindness and generousity.Hope to see Chios again in summer days...
everything was perfect. Giorgos is the best host ever! any location, beach, restaurant, sight seeing locations, he recommended turned out to be amazing! happy to meet him and his dad. next time in Chios, will definitely stay in their place. also, their wifi has great connection while working with a seaview;). the room is perfect even for long stays with fully equiped kitchen although we didn’t need to use it. outside of the room there is an amazinf seaview and a few nearby beaches are walking distance.
We've just had another very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Castro Rooms with a spotlessly clean and beautifully prepared room as before. With a very comfortable bed, (the best we had whilst on Chios), and such a great location close to the ferries, restaurants and shops, we wouldn't even bother thinking about staying anywhere else when in Chios Town. Many thanks and we hope to be back soon!

When we booked the hotel I asked if we could arrive before check in and store our luggage until check in time. We were told yes. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived 3 hours early and were told our room was ready. The staff even assisted us carrying our luggage 3 flights of stairs to our clean, well air conditioned room. The hotel is located literally 3 short blocks from the harbor.
The best view and location. The owner and his wife were extremely kind and let me keep my luggage there throughout the day while I waited for my flight back home. I Accidentally booked the wrong day and he changed it for me without charging me which was really nice of him they are extremely friendly and I recommend this place for any solo traveller needing some help or guidance.
Stelios was a super-host to us. Quite good local recommendations, the location is just perfect.

The apartment is located in the middle of Chios Castle, one of the buildings in the best shape in the area. Nice decoration, attention to details, very clean and comfortable. Excellent host and very good location, a few minutes walk to the port and to the city centre. I highly recommend this apartment for a short or a long stay.

Everything was perfect. It has an excellent location, close to the port and the city centre. Flat was clean, tidy and well-furnished. The owner took care of our every need, this hotel room ensures a memorable and enjoyable stay for any traveler.
Would be ideal for couples that would stay in Chios a bit longer - like 5 days or more. Very close to markets and city center so, shopping is not an inconvenience. Very clean and the sofa was very comfortable - I even slept on it a bit.
This was not our first stay here. It is our 'go to' hotel whenever we are on Chios which we are several times a year. This time, due to a delayed ferry, we arrived very late and had no problem accessing our very comfortable room.
It is the second time for our holiday in Chios. Chandris is the best and modern place in island. I advice to people who don't like the surprise in holiday, because everything was enough for comfort.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable but the bathroom was very small. Centrally located but hotel sjgn was small and difficult to find.
