Beautiful location, away from the heavily populated tourist locations. The host, Nikos, welcomed us warmly and was always up for a chat over some tsipouro. He really made our stay so special. I would also recommend having dinner at the hotel,

The location was perfect to start many adventures on the island. A fifteen minute walk to Apollonia and a great Taverna close by, but very peaceful. Very cute garden and porch with chairs. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee pods and someone came to make our bed. The property itself is very characterful.
Aris goes over and above to make sure his guests have an enjoyable stay. He is continuing the family business from his grandparents and when we were there was organising many additional improvements and renovations to the rooms and apartments to make them even better. He gave us some great local recommendations for the island and helped organise a taxi from the ferry.
We loved our stay at Nostos Sifnos and hope to be back!

The main positives for Alick hotel, or its location and the friendliness of the staff. The room was very small, including the shower, and on one day breakfast had been cleared away before we arrived.
Nice and quiet spot next to the sea. Some restaurants available and a convenience store, but quiet altogether. Magnificent view. 25 minutes away by car to Apolonias or Artemonas, the main villages of the island.

Cherronisos is quite secluded (which is great!)
Cherronisos is quite secluded (which is great!) and busses to go there from the ferry port after a certain time. Considering that ferries often arrive late, take that into account when planning to get to Cherronisos so you don't miss the last bus! As taxis are limited, you should book a taxi in advance or rent a care if you arrive to Sifnos later in the evening.

This is such a pretty quaint unspoilt place.
This is such a pretty quaint unspoilt place. Lovely beach/sea which is ideal for everyone and very safe for children. The locals are friendly and go out of their way to welcome you.
There is a bus service during the day but this service stops at 4pm so unless you hire a car you have to stay in the resort in the evening. I believe this is extended in peak season.
