Maria was very attentive and professional, from start to finish, me and my fiancé went and she treated us like family, any thing we asked she was so helpful, we would recommend this accommodation and Maria as an excellent host….

Lovely location, close to the water. Room lovely size and comfy. Wrap around balcony a bonus. A milk frother would make the coffee machine perfect.
Located in the area of Paleros, Thesmos Village boasts a private beach area with mooring facilities, 1 swimming pool and a children’s pool.

It is located 5min by car out of the city of Mytikas, opposite Kalamos island. The area is full of camping sites and ideal for peace and quiet. The beach is ok, but stronlgy suggest to explore all the small gulfs before and after mytikas, access is easy even for families. The room was cleaned everyday, but we requested every 3 days when the linen was changed. They also have a lovely restaurant/bar by the pools open for lunch and dinner with room service available upo request(i.e. be CAREFUL there is nothing to eat within walking distance,as restaurants in Mytikas close for siesta even during high season, but there is a supermarket to pick up things in Mytikas). For peace and privacy suggest to book a room with a side sea view, same view but without the day+night pool noise from kids and people, restaurant. Extra cost for dog, which was reasonable + they set everyday a table for us outside the reastaurant to sit with the dog. Breakfast is really nice and everyday of a different variety. Extremely nice orientation and wonderful view to the sea from all angles if you book a room with a balkony. The also have a small dock to rent a boat to go to Kalamos(without a motorboat license) or they can take you there, reasonably priced and located at the beach of the hotel. Would stay there again or in Palairos where you have more options(stay/eat/drink/activities).

This is a pretty little seaside town with a peaceful vibe. Lots of small cafes and coffee houses along the shore. It is still underdeveloped in terms of lodging choices, although Giannis Village Resort up on the hillside is an ambitious addition to the limited amenities in the region. The setting of Astakos Bay is absolutely beautiful.

A small and quiet village, beautiful seafront with taverna's and coffee bars. Always fresh seafood and traditional Greek food at more than reasonable prices.
Half-an-hour drive North, one can enjoy an sunset in Mytikas and for another 30-40 minutes drive, faimos Island of Lefkada can be reached with beautiful beaches and excellent food places. Enjoy.

Nice and quiet enough place, but I was there in January so summer will be different. We ate at two local restaurants twice, fresh seafood and tasty. There are not many places to see so one or two days is enough to visit.

If you are going to Greece for the beaches, this is not the place to go. It is not a 'touristy' area, so all the amenities are not there. The place feels run down, and needs a reviving. The restaurants were mediocre. You could get a good pita giros, though for 2 Euro. We thoroughly enjoyed our apartment, but the village needs a good dose of hospitality to encourage holiday makers to come to their little corner of Greece.
