Arkasa Palace, hotel in Arkasa

Just 500 metres from Agios Nikolaos Beach, Arkasa Palace offers sea-view accommodation and an outdoor pool. All rooms have private balconies and are elegantly decorated.

Great location - only 5 minute drive to center of town or a 20 minute walk. Lovely pool, though it was cool as we were there mid-October. Beautiful view of sea from large pool area. Communication and check in was easy. Free parking was easy and secure. Good Wifi - which was important as I needed it for work. Maria was very nice and engaging. Staff were all very friendly and kind. The property was beautifully manicured by a fellow that also helped serve breakfast. The Indonesian girl server was also very kind. Beds were good. Shower configuration in our bedroom was a little weird as you had to be careful not to splash edge of bed - suggest they extend the shower wall. The blind between living room and bedroom was also too short. Fabulous and large breakfast with greek yoghurt, honey and fruit, eggs, some days as omelette or fried, one day we had crepes and other pancakes, baked good including bread, sometime mini spanokopitas or croissants plus jam and preserves. Coffee wasn't great, so went out for coffees afterwards, which was fine. Bed linens were good as were towels. They also provided slippers and robes but no beach towels. You can rent beach towels if you wish. We loved this palce nd if we stay in Arkana again, we will definitely stay here ! Thank you MARIA and staff!

Glaros luxury studio on the Beach, hotel in Arkasa

Located in Arkasa, 2.9 km from Finiki Beach, Glaros luxury studio on the Beach offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a garden.

The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything you could use in the kitchen to have a breakfast or a snack. The location was awsome, not even 1 min walk to the beautiful beach of Agios Nikolaos. The stuff was more than great, eager to help, very polite. Costas the owner, very helpful in everything we may need. Arkasa, a lively and beautiful village, is very close, at about 5-10 min by car. I totally recommend Glaros Studios. If I visit again Karpathos I would book there again!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience during our stay! The view from the suite was simply breathtaking. Not only was the room clean, but the overall organization and arrangement were impressive as well. The location was perfect, providing easy access to everything we wanted to explore. What made our stay even more enjoyable were the delightful hosts, Michalis and Giota. Their friendliness and warmth made me feel right at home. Arkasa is a excellent option for staying, with breathtaking sunset & sea view, place is not very touristic so someone can enjoy a quiet village, traditional, with friendly people. Food options are great, prices are very good and restaurants offer homemade food with quality. There is beautiful each saint Nikolaos, organized with facilities. Close to the airport, close to pigadia city. There is pharmacy and fuel station, very useful. Arkasa has extremely beautiful sunset, is the home of sunset. Monuments to visit, village’s church Ipapanti, you can go walking in the evening to the village & Palaiokastro hill, a hiking option.

Arkasa is a quiet village with beatiful beaches (that of Agios Nikolaos) and some restaurants. A small square with shops and a few supermarkets. It's perfect for tranquil holidays and to get a good rest. The people are also very kind.

A small village on the west coast of Karpathos.

A small village on the west coast of Karpathos. The land is arid and rocky with towering mountains. Life is in and comes from the sea. The beach bars, tavernas, and accommodation all face the sea. Easy to get to any part of the island from here. Much quieter than Pigadia (Main city, also called Karpathos on some maps). Arkasa is for the beach - has a beach bar, restaurants, and a few small shops. You don't actually have to leave the area unless you want to explore. Favorite spots - Karpassion beach bar, Glaros Taverna, Surfvival surf shop, Agio Nikolas Beach. There are trails to the beach from the main town center - just follow the trails next to the coast. Easy to get around walking or in car. There is a lot of accommodation right at Agios Nikolas beach. If you venture out head north to Lefkos - small protected bay. Good for kids. Stop at Taverna Under the Trees for a bite.

Absolutely beautiful, recently renovated but in traditional style this small house in Arkasa made our stay so pleasant, so relaxing. The family who owns the place is so nice too! The house is located perfectly, just a few steps from the more up-market Kipos taverna and 2-3 min walk from the main restaurant street (I would personally recommend Parthenon restaurant; for breakfast – Sweet Time creperie). It's also not far from the beach, around 10-15 min walk.

Athanasios and Sofia are great hosts and they waited until late to welcome us for the check-in, also gifting us some treats and delicious homemade goodies for our stay. The house is renovated, fully equipped, with a beautiful patio where you can enjoy your meals and some relaxing time. Supermarket is 5 mins walking and the airport is 15 mins by car. Overall Arkasa is a great location for traveling around the island. Thank you!

Really quiet place and the view is amazing. The rooms get cleaned every day and are therefore not a single complain. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the owner made sure that i have/know everything i need to make the most out of my stay on Karpathos. He helped me finding a moped, told me many things about the island and sights and is always up for a little chat – you can ask him everything and he‘ll find a solution.

One of the best properties I stayed this summer. This family hotel is rather dated but very well maintained. The sunset sea view is just breathtaking. The orientation of the rooms is ideal as the morning you have natural shade and in the early evening you cannot get enough of the landscape. The host quite helpful and friendly. Spotlessly clean and with well equipped kitchenette.

Calm and secluded place by the sea, but easy to reach from Arkasa (2km from the city). Spacious Terrace with sea view, very big living room, very clean, very friendly owners! Very good value for money. Very secluded place, but everything is within 20 minutes by car, Arkasa (2min), Pigadia and the airport.

We stayed overnight in Arkasa (after a week in Olymbos) in order to be closer to the airport for an early morning flight. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was wonderful to sleep with the windows open and hear the ocean. Great value - I highly recommend Kimata.
