EU flags fly everywhere. Stores are modern, convenient and plentiful as are traditional sidewalk bakeries and shops. Cha-cha is a local grappa that gets passed around for free a lot. Wines are consistently good, no fluctuation in quality like a lot of vintners from Eastern Europe or Australia. Clay pot aging a local tradition. Driving culture is sensible and people are confident and friendly. Read up on local cuisine and make sure you try the lamb. Tons of history, lots of culture, a distinct look and feel as unique as Italy or Greece, maybe even more so.

Nice Small City for a weekend retreat, however if you want to extend the stay, the explore nearby cities, and ample options available to explore from Beautiful City Views with rich history to mountains and snow on the other end. Food is good, and if you try local food made by locals in remote areas of Georgia, i am sure you will remember it for a very long time. If i go again, food in the mountains would be a primary reason.

Tbilisi is a nice city with interesting buildings old and new. Good restaurants with very good local wines. People are friendly and we felt safe. In general is not expensive , good hotels don’t need to be expensive. There’s a good selection of things to see like the monastery and things to do like wine tasting. I recommend you to visit.

Great food and wine options, however the city is quite dirty and there is lots of graffiti. People drive like mad here as well. Worth a visit, but maybe for 5 days at most. If you want to stay longer it would probably be best to rent a car and drive out of the city to explore the rest of the country.
The hotel looks and feels new. The rooms are especially lovely, clean, with new carpets, bedding, furniture. The bed was fantastic. Good lighting (rare in Georgia), nice bathroom. Really could not be faulted.
Staff were helpful and kind, wifi worked, there was a nice rooftop terrace and ground floor patio, and drinks on sale at Reception. Breakfast was quite the spread. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in T'bilisi.

What a treat! The place is so unique and welcoming! Exactly what we needed after exploring Georgia for a couple of weeks! Perfect quite spot in the center of Tbilisi. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. Small boutique hotel with warm, kind and professional personnel. Roman was so attentive to us and helped with everything we needed - airport transfer, SIM card, cash exchange. And the breakfast! OMG! It was so, so delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler.
I am happy I have booked this hotel during my stay in Tbilisi. It has new and well renovated rooms as well as Georgian style balcony, were you can sit and enjoy the cozy Tbilisi old town scene. The staff and service is cozy and top quality. We needed some extra help with our stay and the hotel staff willingly helped and showed real care.

All are perfect. I'd like to commend the bathrobes and toiletries, very generous and good choice. Not all hotel have good quality of toiletries and offer bathrobes. Staffs are very approachable. Interior design and ambiance very classy hotel. Location near city (Liberty Square-where the old tbilisi are walking distance only) and many georgian restaurants anytime of the day, you can walk around and try random near good restaurants.
We stayed in this hotel for two nights. The hotel is tastefully decorated and has artistic touch. The bed was comfy and the shower was good quality. The breakfast room is very special and has decadent ambiance. We loved their georgian breakfast which tasted so homey and delicious. The reception was kind and efficient. They helped us a lot with booking restaurants and taxis. We loved our stay and look forward to returning.

I chose Zemeli hotel for my business trip for 4 nights and it was a good decision. The room was freshly renovated, breakfast was tasty, each day with various types of dishes from Georgian cuisine. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. There were both internationally knows foods and local ones. Characteristically delicious for Georgia. We liked the hotel's location; it was not exactly in the city center, but in an interesting old district.
If you are looking for a hotel with comfortable beds, a good location near Freedom Square, an outstanding, homemade Georgian breakfast with fabulous tea, and the most delightful, caring host, this is an excellent hotel choice!
