Everything was new, modern, and clean. Unexpectedly high standard for the price, I've never stayed in such a luxory place anywhere else in Georgia (I'm a budget traveler). And the views were great, the house is built on a hill facing another mountain. There's also a café under development where I got to hang out on my own until late at night, preparing as many cups of tea as I felt like. You can also order meals at prices lower than in the restaurants in Mestia - for example, an enormous khachapuri for 10 GEL.

Postcard-perfect views of Peaks Mazeri and Ushba from bedroom window in a stunning, quiet valley. I highly recommend hopping off here en-route to Mestia for a couple of days or more for the amazing waterfall/glacier day hikes and/or intense relaxation in the valley. The tourist cafe with hammocks is a great place to chill or end a hike with a beer etc Room was warm and comfy. Breakfast and dinner were fresh and provided just the right amount, with the option of extra. Murman was full of stories about hikers difficulties over the year and was helpful in checking and advising on weather conditions.
