Brilliant location - quiet, total removal from the woes of civilisation. The host was very welcoming with us. We were slightly underprepared, but she cooked us a soup in the evening and the breakfast on our last morning was delicious. Very friendly reception. The apartment has everything you might need - fridge, cooker, pots, pans, microwave. Bathroom equally well stocked. All very clean. Thankfully, there is no TV set :), but there is WiFi if you want it.

East check in, clean and comfortable, great breakfast.
Very nice Town. Looking for food, the Pub's left a little to be desired. One was Very pubby, we walked in looked around and walked out again, and the bar maid didn't speak! (Nor yet did we!!) the other one was similar, but just dirty tables and unorganized, so we walked out of that one. BUT, we are NOT pub people, so, maybe that has a bearing on our opinion? We ended up with fish and chips, and although the sitting down area was not open, they allowed us to sit in, so that was a bonus! And the food was good.

Wooler has a coop and budgens which were handy for shopping.
Wooler has a coop and budgens which were handy for shopping. However no takeaway food nearby and at least 10 miles from the coast. However if you don't mind that it is a great place to stay and only 10 miles from the Scottish Borders.

Wooler is nice little town, it has its own whiskey and gin distillery which is definitely worth a visit. There is a lovely Italian restaurant named Milan and a couple of pubs which also serve food. I believe there is also another restaurant which will be opened later this year too.
There are lots of lovely walks and other villages and towns close by, although you do need a car to get around.

A really great location , central to visiting Northumberland , we had a great time and the property was modern and very clean. Handy Co op down the road and a pub which we didnt have time to visit which apparently does good pub food.

Warm welcome. Very helpful staff. Attractive garden with tables at the back and plenty of parking.
The location was great. Wooler is a lovely town and ample amenities available in the area. Although we did not meet Stephanie she kept in touch to check if we needed anything.
