The room was well equipped and had a lovely bathroom with shower / bath / toiletries and also some tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits in the room, etc.
Room was away from the restaurant area so, quiet.
The restaurant attached serves very nice food!

Nice town.
Have visited a few pubs/restaurants there over a few years.
Always good food/friendly atmosphere.
Decent golf course nearby (Sonning) which is usually my reason to visit each year.

Just off the M4 Wokingham is a convenient base to explore both Thames Valley and events at Ascot Racecourse. Places like Henley on Thames and Windsor are easily accessible by road and hotels tend to charge much less. It is also a good jumping off area to London, so attracts visitors from continent who cannot afford / do not want to stay in Central London. With fast Elizabeth line service to London from nearby Twyford this is a good base and the railway connection from nearby Reading means a day trip to Bath is very easy.

A quiet town within reach for both work & leisure.
A quiet town within reach for both work & leisure.
A drive of less than 2 hours will get you to central London, avoiding expensive accommodation cost of Central London & yet you could enjoy the nature & quietness at Wokingham after a day out at London.

Big impressive building in lovely grounds, nothing wrong...
Big impressive building in lovely grounds, nothing wrong with the room or the breakfast but the whole interior is in need of a freshen up and it was very quiet as we stayed mid week. The bar was almost empty.
Lovely terrace overlooking formal gardens so if weather is warm, a nice place to sit and have a drink.
Imagine it would come to life at weekends with weddings and other events.
We absolutely loved the location and the trails! Our first time coming to the Area, kids loved it and so did we. The staff are super nice, equipment in Chalet is top notch and beds are super comfy also. We came over Christmas and the Chalet was decorated with lights and a Christmas tree for us. We will definitely miss the peaceful mornings and serenity the place brought. Thank you for a wonderful holiday :) See you in the new year!
Perfect stay for work in the area. Nice comfortable room with good facilities, good size work space, quality wifi, extra mile on the little details such as coffee machine in room, bath robes, Nice comfortable beds. Great location for either reading or wokingham commutes. Very friendly welcome and lovely fresh breakfast with selection of hot and cold options.
Liked it so much im going again next week.
By far the best hotel I have ever stayed at for £57 which included a full English breakfast. If anybody complains about this place for the money then there idiots. Lovely room matched by a lovely pub with garden and lovely staff. Exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Thank you for an amazing stay.
Not familiar with the area, the location was a little further from the friends we were visiting than what we would have liked but the accommodation was certainly cosy and comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. We would certainly use the Hotel again.
Great location - an easy walk into the city, and nice to be on the outskirts. Friendly staff, and excellent food in the attached bar/restaurant. Will defintely look to book again next time I'm in Wokingham.
This was a great alternative to Travelodge/Premier Inn who's charges seem to have rocketed. The room was clean and tidy, pristine sheets and towels. The restaurant was quaint and the Thai food was excellent
immaculately clean, well appointed, comfortable, yummy breakfast cooked to order. very friendly and accommodating hostess (Nancy). best shower in the entire UK. I will stay here again whenever I am near!
Right next to my family house. It was easy to check in. And really easy to check out. The hotel was clean and spacious. We stayed outside what was really nice because you had a door to the back yard.
The bed was comfy, the shower was nice with an added bonus of toiletries being provided. Tv had NOW tv. Host was very friendly and helpful - gave us lots of ideas of what to do in the local area.
The accommodation is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The host Mike was extremely thoughtful and organised. I will be recommending this place to everyone staying in this area of the country.
We couldn’t fault anything. It was the cleanest, most comfortable, friendliest place we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Won’t consider staying anywhere else when in the area.
Gorgeous little place, good space to play field games like rounders etc, good little table area for card games etc
Great shower
Squishy beds (ideal for some an not for others)
Very good all round property! Would stay again. The area is nice and woodland nearby for a good walk. Heating is amazing. Lounge is good. Beds are comfy. Nice bath.
Stayed at the Emmbrook Inn a few times. Always a very clean room, good quality linen, quiet room, easy parking within walking distance of the center of Wokingham.
