Old fashioned decor, very warm and atmospheric, the restaurant especially is great for food and drinks with friends. The staff is utterly amazing, attentive, professional, solicitous and able to do everything in their power to make you feel welcome and cared for. I had to check out super early and required a taxi at the crack of dawn(forgot to book ahead, too), and the amazing lady at the reception called every taxi driver in the area to find me a ride to the train station. Highly recommend and will be back time and again. I also found the beds supremely comfortable- the pillows were fluffed up like clouds and sleeping was like nestling up in a dreamscape of perfect tranquility. Thanks for everything!

Hosts were fabulous and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Breakfast was top notch. A variety of options (more than any other location we stayed in) and the apartment we stayed in and the property grounds were super cute. My 4-yr old loved the fish and tadpoles he spotted in the back garden. I loved that we had a living room space away from the bedrooms for late night tv watching.

The property is beautiful and it is so relaxing to just sit out in the garden. Michael is a wonderful host and his place is so conveniently located to Stone Henge.
