Extremely comfortable, large room with great amenities. Nicola, our host, provided daily snacks and drinks in the room and recommendations on things to do and where to visit. Very quiet location. Close to Hay on Wye for a little town visit.

The Garden Room, hotel in Whitton

Boasting garden views, The Garden Room features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 38 km from Elan Valley. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area.

The location in Knighton was perfect. A 10 min walk from the station and in the centre of town. A number of good places to eat and drink - even on a Monday which is rare in these rural places. The accommodation had everything you needed and was very cosy and comfortable. We will certainly book again when next in the area. Knighton is a great area for walking.

Burton Hotel, hotel in Whitton

Set within a modernised coaching inn, the family-run Burton Hotel is a residence situated on the Offa’s Dyke footpath in the small market town of Kington, which lies on the Welsh border.

Nice staff great location only downside was my room. They are old rooms and whilst the bathroom was a good size the water pressure in the shower was very bad and barely useable. At £115 a night that’s not good enough.

Passable cottage but not suitable for older people, stairs very difficult with only rope to hold on to. No accessible garden for dog, had to walk along road with no pavement and into field with sheep and resulting poo. No private bathroom.
