Wonderful ambiance with a calm and graceful decor but sumtiously comfortable. The room was large witha fabulous sized bed, super comfortable matress and a bundle of nice touches. The evening meal was delicious and we went for all three courses as the starters were amazing, the main meal delicious and we had to try the dessert, which didn't let us down. Breakfast was of a similar ilk - well presented, just the right portion sizes and totally delicious. Also a shout out to all the staff who were friendly, welcoming and very natural. Very happy to return to this lovely hotel.

The staff was wonderful: friendly and helpful. I really liked that breakfast was until 11 (not a morning person), and they accommodated us even when we were late (we loved the full english breakfast!). The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable: firm but not hard. The inn is really in the heart of Sheringham and it felt very cosy to walk back in straight after having been windblown by the shore. Good amenities: ear plugs, biscuits, tea and coffee, hair dryer etc.
Nestled in the picturesque village of West Runton The Dormy House Hotel is a haven of exquisite service, unparalleled dining, and renowned Best Roast on the Coast.

Lovely Hotel, far nicer inside than the building leads you to believe. Stunning sea view downstairs. Really lovely staff, nothing too much trouble. We had a simple but tasty meal in the evening. Good prices for drinks and food. Bedroom and bathroom great!

Had a free complimentary room upgrade upon checking-in, which was a pleasant surprise. Room was a spacious double with a great walk-in shower in the bathroom. Had dinner in the restaurant which was also really good and seemed decent value for money.

Weybourne is well placed for access to the sea and coastal path. The steam railway is also only a 20 minute walk away . There is a little coffee shop opposite the Ship Inn selling papers and essentials.
There is also a stop for the coastal hopper bus which offers an excellent service (about every 30 minutes when we were there) between Sheringham and Cromer. This is great for walkers.

There is not a great deal in Weybourne - a pub, a shop/cafe and the church and priory ruins. But there is an amazing beach - it's stones but reveals sand at lower tides. The water was clean and clear and although signs warn not to swim, there were lots of people in the water ! The sunset was amazing and this beach is popular but wasn't packed as such and if you walk either way from the car park you will find solitude from the crowd if you wish

It is a quiet village with a beach about 800 yds from it's centre, access to coastal walks and well situated for other towns and villages as well as several impressive estates and stately homes.
A small preserved steam railway runs nearby with a station about 1 km from the village centre.
It is located in an AONB.

The Ship Inn has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with modern decor throughout. it is spotlessly clean and our room was as good if not better than some 4 star hotels we have stayed in.
The breakfasts were cooked to order with plenty of choice on the menu.
Evening meals were also of a high standard, which was reflected in the tables being quickly booked up. Many thanks to Linton the owner and chef who welcomed your feedback. Lucy and the rest of the staff were a credit to the Ship Inn. The beach is only 10 mins walk away it is shingle but has miles to explore.
Lovely village, set in walking distance to the sea. Pretty villages all along the coast to visit with great little shops. The food was excellent, wonderful choice for all palettes.
My husband had the full English and everything was hit and cooked to perfection and you need a large appetite to finish it! I have to say that they served the best coffee, I have ever had at a pub or hotel. I highly recommend this beautiful pub/b&b.
The staff were happy and friendly and couldn't do enough to help us.
We absolutely loved the Ship Inn. It is an exquisite place to stay and they have thought of everything and so the room is both comfortable and has everything you need.
The staff were wonderful, polite and always available to help. Adding to this, the food was exceptional - we enjoyed every thing we had. It is located near to many towns but it is also quiet and peaceful. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Beautiful location in sleepy Weybourne, nice village views, short stroll to the beach , lovely pub restaurant with exceptionally good service as well as everything being super-clean. Bedroom and bathroom extremely comfortable and welcoming G&T in the room ( as well as tea/coffee etc) much appreciated .
Definitely want to stay at the Ship again.
Great location, just a short walk to the beach at Weybourne and the coastal path, and accessible to other coastal towns via car, bus or train. Staff very accommodating, especially regarding my food request (lactose intolerance), I was able to eat very well at breakfast and dinner. Room was comfortable, bed was comfortable and a lovely en suite.
Exceptionally good breakfast, cooked to order and properly served. Proper restaurant menu with good quality food and decent portions.
Room was clean, modern and comfortable with all facilities.
All staff were friendly, helpful and hospitable.
The Ship Inn could set an example to many so-called four and five star hotels.
Friendliness of Ali and Margery who welcomed me in. Very convenient flat . It was light, extremely clean, bed very comfortably, soft towels, zand very handily situated for the wa
Ks I wanted to da, ie the Weybourne Circular walk, the steam train and the Norfolk coastal route.
Great location, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast and dinner menu's.
Our room was very clean and modern with a comfy bed.
Location is perfect for walking, the beach or just exploring the North Norfolk coast.
Rooms were perfect, very clean and warm.
All the staff were pleasant and very good, the young lady “Lucy”was excellent a very good asset to the Hotel.
Thank you all very much, we hope to return in the Summer
The standard of everything surpassed our expectations and the staff were brilliant. The location was a short walk to the beach and convenient for much of North Norfolk.
The room was really good and even though the b and b rooms only opened recently everything was well organized. If we go back to Norfolk this is where we will stay.
