Staff team great, helpful, friendly a credit to the Kings Arms. Food good, and the cask ales were also good, this hasn't always been the case in the past, so I was delighted. At the improvements.

good breakfast, we were required to make our choices the night before which wasn't a problem for us. Room a little tired, but clean and spacious. friendly bar to round off the evening,
Westruther is a hamlet rather than a village. Although remote, it is well positioned for travelling around the Scottish Borders.
Although there is a villlage pub, it is only open Thursday to Sunday and so if a traveler wanted pub meals / a few beers they would have to go to a larger village/town a few miles away.
