Stayed for two nights in a family room, and I was very happy with my stay. The staff in reception, bar and restaurant are a credit to this place. Friendly and approachable. The room was clean, yes a little tired but we didn’t mind. Good size with a double and single. Large bathroom, again very clean! Tea making facilities good and access to iron/ ironing board etc. We didn’t hear any noise from other residents, but our room was at the end of corridor so no one walking past.
We didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment, but we had had dinner twice, the pizza was lovely! And the steak was cooked to perfection. From our experience we would recommend.

Shannon was very helpful and on hand with local knowledge. The Woodshed was well kitted out, though we didn’t have much time to use many of facilities it seemed to have everything you’d need for a short or long stay.
