Very friendly staff, even at night. Very nice housekeeping. Right in the middle of the town centre, fairly close to the theatre. Great breakfast, plenty of coffee, and yogurts and fresh fruit available. Lovely old building, had cute Halloween decorations. Very large bathroom. Wonderful large mirror! Decent heating.
This private hotel has all en suite comfortable rooms, welcoming staff and the best full English breakfast around, included in your room rate

Hind Hotel is within easy walking distance to the theatre where I had booked tickets. It's in the town centre, plenty of eateries and a nice Wetherspoon around the corner. Enjoyed the park somebody told me about as the weather was still lovely.

We were very disappointed
We were very disappointed
The main issue was the amount of noise from the street at night..
With this hotel being Grade II listed the windows are just metal frames and the sound from the street is very loud, there's a music venue just up the street that closes quite late
Room was nice, clean but very cold, we had a meal on the night of our arrival but the quality was really poor, I ordered one of the specials and it was a slab of mush done in the microwave. Our server was very apologetic but never offered any alternative or discount. We left early in the morning, exhausted to get home and get some sleep so never tried the breakfast we had paid for

Wellingborough might be nice but this was a depressing area with limited shops and too many fast food outlets. Streets rubbish strewn. Approached twice between car park and hotel by beggars wanting money for alcohol or overnight accommodation.

The owner said I only complained about the filthy room because I wanted to stay until 2pm.
This was a lie
I was unaware what time I had to vacate and left soon after being told. The studio was very dirty the person upstairs who spoke to me on the owners behalf also agreed it needed cleaning.
Photographs show some of the dirt

Stayed at Wellingborough as it was close to Santa Pod (Drag Racing).
We got a taxi from local taxi firm Skyline Taxis (Who were excellent!).
We had tea at Castello Lounge, which as excellent, we decided that it was that good we went back for breakfast the following day.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was excellent. The apartment was spotless. It had everything you could need, everything such as washing up liquid, kitchen towel, laundry detergent and softener, tea, coffee, towels, hairdryer etc.. Really comfy, tastefully decorated, spacious, bright apartment in a very quiet area. Short walk to the train station. Parking space allocated. Excellent communication from the letting company. We usually stay in a hotel in the area but we will definitely stay here instead for future visits.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the years and have always had a good night's sleep which is the most important thing of course. I have stayed at all the others hotels in Wellingborough and have not slept nearly as well so the Ibis is now my go to destination when on business.
The staff as on previous occasions were helpful and friendly. The pub and restaurant next door is handy for an evening meal.
The owner Gayle was lovely, funny and welcoming. The hotel itself is old dated, but lovely and cosy. We booked two rooms and they were both spacious. We loved our stay here and will definitely book again.
