Our room the muckle hoose was beautiful and very comfortable. Th decor to the whole hotel was very nice.

Children enjoyed the breakfast but my poached egg was poor and service was slow
Food excellent. Fresh good-quality home-baked cakes placed in room each day. The Lemon Drizzle Cake is the best I've ever tasted. Staff couldn't have been more friendly.
There wasn't really anywhere convenient in the bathroom for placing toiletries. A shelf located near the wash basin would have been nice.
