Fab stay only negative was that I booked this as a surprise and on arrival told if we had not booked a table we could not get food as fully booked which I understand but could have offered to order food still and take to room if needed

We had a very late check-in, and they stayed up very late to politely check us into our room. Our room and view were very nice and clean. The breakfast was also very nice.

Food excellent. Fresh good-quality home-baked cakes placed in room each day. The Lemon Drizzle Cake is the best I've ever tasted. Staff couldn't have been more friendly.
There wasn't really anywhere convenient in the bathroom for placing toiletries. A shelf located near the wash basin would have been nice.
