Harefield Manor Hotel, hotel in Upminster

Conveniently located just 4 miles from the M25 motorway, this elegant Victorian manor house boasts an award-winning restaurant, en suite accommodation, and free W-Fi.

First they wouldn’t let us check in as we had no photo ID. I had to ask my son to drive to my house take a picture of my driving license and send if to me. No where on the booking did it ask for this before checking in. Secondly we wasn’t told they had maintenance work going on with the water. We checked in at 4 and was going out at 6 and still couldn’t get ready as we had no water to shower or flush the toilet. The reception said they had told us this but they hadn’t.
