What was meant to be a day trip up and back from Cornwall for a meeting turned into me, sat in a car park, searching hotels at 8 pm on a Friday because Murphy's Law laughed at my hubris.
I booked and drove directly there, arriving about 10 minutes after booking. Despite my late, unexpected arrival during the middle of dinner service, they met me with smiles, kindness, and patience. They sorted my check-in and sorted my bad day with a much-needed glass of wine.
The room itself was perfect for my needs, but it would have suited for a longer stay, too. I had the family room (my young daughter was with me), air we both found the beds to be super comfortable and a much needed respite from my poor planning.
I actually suffer from OCD, so normally, I keep that in mind when I discuss cleanliness. However, I can say that I was relieved to find that it was spotless, smelled fresh and inviting, and I was happy that I could walk around on the floor without slippers (you don't know me, but those who do would be surprised by this). The linens were crisp and fresh, the pillows were so comfortable, the coffee service was stocked and such a blessing this morning. I didn't make it to breakfast, unfortunately, but judging from the rest of my stay, I'm sure it would have been fantastic.
Parking was abundant. I couldn't hear any other patrons, which meant I slept a little better than I meant to (hence the missed breakfast). All around, it was just a fantastic stay.
I can't thank the staff enough for saving me from myself, and I highly recommend them. I will definitely be staying again next time I'm up...but I'll prebook this time, and maybe even bring a change of clothes or toiletries. 😂

I loved everything about the Annexe II. It's my second time at this property and I'd recommend it to anyone.
A picturesque retreat with a lovely restaurant & bar.
A picturesque retreat with a lovely restaurant & bar. Most rooms are in the grounds so be careful of weather conditions. Good facilities in the rooms- ample bathroom with bath & shower. Free WIFI. Reception mostly unmanned. Footpath past our terrace so only for exhibitionists or pull all the blinds down! Good menu & wine list

A pretty village with a garden centre, an interesting church and a farm shop with cafe. Historic cottages. Very near to the Saxon village visitor centre and to Mildenhall. We used Wongs chinese takeaway in Mildenhall and it was very good. The restaurant in Tuddenham Mill is good too but expensive.

It was a lovely stay for me and my husband for our anniversary, we stayed in one of the books with the hot tub but sadly that wasn’t in use, didn’t realise you payed extra for it. Would of made stay even. More perfect.
Food and staff were great, very polite and welcoming.

The Loft room was very nice but missing basic amenities one would expect from a hotel claiming to be a 'luxury' property. The dining room was very attractive and full of original features and equipment from its mill days. The view over the millpond was delightful. The staff seemed a bit 'edgey' and appeared to be unhappy in their jobs. The food was a grave disappointment from the sparse and haphazard breakfast to the dreadful dinner meats. I noticed other diners stuck with the steak but they appeared to be locals so I guess they had experience on their side. I hope I caught the hotel on a bad day as I would hate to think other travelers experienced the stay that I did.
Omg, our stay at Loft East was absolutely phenomenal. We LOVED, LOVED, LOVED our loft! The entire property is gorgeous and well-manicured, our accommodations were out of this world, and the FOOD was beyond incredible. The staff was SO friendly and helpful, and our entire, entire, entire experience was just delightful. We are SO, SO happy that we chose Tuddenham Mills to stay at. We will definitely be back for sure!!!
The property was gorgeous. Very quiet and relaxing. The room was perfect and cozy, and the bathroom was huge. Stayed in Water Meadow room and the view from the patio was stunning. The food was amazing. Breakfast that was included is exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I have nothing but positives and raves about this hotel. I will for sure be back if I visit England again.
Everything was superb. The disabled room was well equipped and very comfortable, the food was absolutely first class and the staff were the most efficient, helpful and friendly group I have ever encountered in a Hotel. The grounds and location were quiet and peaceful - ideal for a stress free break away. Can't praise it enough.
Beautiful hotel. Room was huge, dining room was immaculate and the teepee was a great change to have dinner. (Food was lovely) Went for a stroll around the grounds which were superb and well maintained. Situated in a handy place to make your base.
Lovely hotel, lovely setting. Food excellent. Staff very friendly. Was also shown around by one of the Directors, nice touch. Stayed on one of the Nooks, quirky, clean and very nicely decorated.
Will definitely stay again.
My wife and I just love coming back to tuddenham mill each year. It's where we got engaged & the food is superior to other hotels.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
It's just our go to place when we need a break.
😉❤️😍
Great food, lovely rooms, nice grounds to walk dogs and good that a rural hotel has proper EV car chargers as decent ones are hard to find in villages.
