Set in Tregaron and only 29 km from Aberystwyth Golf Club, Welshhomestead offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Claire, Chris and their family were excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay on their working farm. They gave us plenty of tips on where to visit, eat and also included us in their day to day routine. They stayed in the adjoining property and were very responsive to our queries. The abode was cosy and well stocked with food & beverages. They even includes their own farm eggs and excellent home made chilli jam. Bear in mind that the farm is a few hundred metres above sea level, so temperatures can be about 2C lower than sea level. Nonetheless, their friendly hospitality warmed our stay immensely.

Loft Fawr, hotel in Tregaron

Located 45 km from Elan Valley, 33 km from Clarach Bay and 29 km from Aberystwyth Castle, Loft Fawr features accommodation set in Tregaron.

The property is beautifully furnished and was spotlessly clean. It was well-stocked with essentials such as hand soap, dishwashing stuff, tea, coffee and a few herbs, spices, etc. The location is in the town centre, but views out of the back over rolling hills. Perfect location for access to some of mid-Wales stunning scenery.

Loft Fach, hotel in Tregaron

The flat was absolutley lovely - nicely decorated and maintained, with some extra Christmas touches as we stayed just before Christmas. It was lovely and cosy and there were extra blankets provided. Kitchen was well stocked with crockery and utensils. Great view over to the town's Christmas tree. Communal areas were also well mantianted. Parking could have been tricky but we managed to snag a space right outside the front door.

Had a mountain walk (9.5 miles) to Teifi Pools and a quick tour of the monastery at Strata Florida. Tregaron is a great place to plan mountain walks from and has plenty of pubs and hotels. I stayed at the Y Talbot which was very good.

Great place for a young family.

Great place for a young family. Not so good for us pensioners. The Hungry Ram was excellent and friendly. The location in the countryside is great - lots of windy country lanes. Very quiet and peaceful.
