Character hotel with a beautiful view down the valley along side a river .
Staff were very engaging and helpful and just a short walk into town . The hotel bar was great and they had a terrace to sit out on a clear day .
The room was well appointed and the bed was large and very comfortable. A huge balcony which would be great in the summer .

The setting is breathtaking .. The rooms are so comfortable, and Mike, the owner, goes above and beyond to make the stay memorable .
The added touches in the room from the doggy bed time story book and the items that make it a home from home experience .. It's our new go-to retreat in one of our favourite parts of Wales. . The food, especially the breakfast, was highly recommended .. although I do like my hashbrowns crispier.
We will be back.

Interesting little town with the Fairy falls within walking distance of the hotel.I The mill was really interesting as well with friendly staff and a few bargains spotted as well.
The car park next to the river is worth it just for the relaxing sound of running water and the sound of birds in the morning

The rooms were next, and separate, to the pub and sports bar. We had food from the bar menu, which was beautiful. A great, and well priced selection of drinks is way too tempting! The hotel is perfectly placed between Betws Y Coed and Llanwrst and not far from Conwy, nestled in wooded hills alongside a river. The staff are wonderfully friendly and chatty. We, as a family, couldn't have been happier all round. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

A good base for walking in Snowdonia.
A good base for walking in Snowdonia. Trefriw is a quite village but there is a steady flow of cars through the village. The cafe was closed, the woollen mill was expensive. A good walk up to the lakes starts from the village

Lovely village in great location.
Lovely village in great location. Lots of beautiful countryside for walking and sightseeing.
Village has 2 great pubs serving food and 2 brasseries.
The butchers in the village has everything you need a for a stay and lots of fresh produce. The post office has a smaller selection but very friendly welcome in both.
Woollen Mill is worth a visit and the Fairy Falls waterfall above and behind the Mill was fantastic when we visited.
