What a great find. We loved the friendly reception from the land- lord, Jonathan who from the onset made us feel welcome. The property was very clean and with great attention to detail.. plenty of coffee, tea and biscuits, which was well appreciated after a long day.
The evening meal was delicious and a great selection of beers and wines ..

Room service was very good and the breakfast was very tasty. The waitress that took our orders for dinner in the evening was very friendly and helpful and had a big smile on her face, despite the fact that she was working a 17 hour shift!

The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable and the shower very good. We had an evening meal in the pub which was excellent and breakfast was very good too. The pub has a lovely atmosphere.

Amazing remote location. Great instructions on how to get there. Water in the hot tub was hot on arrival. The sauna was great and easy to use. Very clean.

A rather special village nestled in verdant downland, though very much an estate-owned vicinity geared to country sports. Beautiful countryside for walking or running, albeit that one of the nearby paths through a bullock field has to be negotiated with prudence. The church is of considerable interest and picturesqueness.
