The apartment was a short walk from the centre of town, and easy to find with the hosts instructions. There was all you need for a stay, with a nice lounge/diner, cooking facilities and comfortable beds. The shower was also good and there was plenty of on street parking just outside (down some steps). The hosts had gone to great lengths to add homely features and stylish elements such as artworks etc.

Very cosy, cute little place, nice location, friendly and cooperative owners. Nice facilities like a fully equiped kitchen and bathroom. Everything very clean.
Normally I would say if anything wasn't OK, but I just can't think of anything negative.
And, also a very good price / quality ratio!
I would gladly return to this location.

walks from Todmorden are great you can have hill climbs or gentle walks along the canal paths in both directions and return by train or bus as they both have a regular service. The town itself has all that you need for a great break or longer stay highly recommend.

Lovely and interesting place, lots of cafe's restaurants and bars.
Entertainment wise lots going on, music nights, theatre, nearby cinema, walks, cycling etc. Locals are friendly and chatty.
The surroundings are semi rural, some beautiful landscapes especially on the tops above the town.

My first time in Todmorden (to visit family), I was overwhelmed by its beauty, friendliness, peace and tranquility but with many activities and amenities. A wonderful town and community! I wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be visiting again.

I was at Walsden, the next village, part of Todmorden. If the weather had not been so bad I would have done some walking. The countryside is stunning. I stayed at Enchanting Haven which is stone's throw from Walsden Station.

Todmorden is a charming town that offers a unique and memorable experience. From its picturesque landscapes to its rich history, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The must-visit spot is the Todmorden Market, where you can find a variety of local produce, crafts, and delicious food. And if you're a nature lover, don't miss a visit to the tranquil Centre Vale Park, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a picnic. Todmorden is a very pleasant, interesting, well located former mill town with a good variety of shops, pubs and eateries (we especially recommend “Eat”) great market (indoor and outdoor) and nice canalside. Don’t miss the Town hall which is an outstanding building with a superbly renovated main hall.
The town is also very well located for accessing the surrounding countryside and neighbouring towns of Hebden Bridge and Halifax.
Enjoyed another comfortable stay at the Queen's Hotel. Made to feel welcome by Darren who had also liased by messages in preparation for my visit.
The room was airy, clean & warm with a hot shower. Slept soundly all night and enjoyed the relaxed breakfast before checking out.
Would recommend staying here in the centre of Todmorden, a stone's throw from the train station and a short walk to the Golden Lion, White Hart & Duke Of York's pubs.
Great location in central Todmorden. the lack of parking was not a real problem and there is a public car park on Dalton Street with free parking for 71 hours. It would be better to approach the cottage from Dalton Street as it is accessed from the rear and not from the postal address on Wellington Road.
Well fitted kitchen so we made our own evening meals and breakfast. We liked the extra space of a living/dining room compared to a B&B bedroom and also the flexibility of self-catering if we wanted to. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby in Todmorden if you want to eat out.
It was a comfy room in a lovely home and was the perfect accommodation for my night in Walsden. Jo was a fabulous host and even gave me a lift to Todmorden and booked me a taxi home. Definitely recommend for solo travellers or couples.
Great location. Wonderful accomadation and great hosts. The coach house was wonderful, clean and felt like home away from home. 20 minutes walk away from Todmorden Town centre. And Gary was really helpful!
