We enjoyed our stay at the Hartnoll Hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly, we had a lovely room which was larger than we expected as it was called a "cosy double". The food was excellent, especially the homemade bread. Locationwise it is possible to walk about quarter of an hour along a footpath to arrive at Knightshays NT property, which is very well worth a visit.

Whilst the premises are quite old the rooms were well furnished and very clean. There was a DVD player in the room and a wide selection of DVD's on the landing if you wanted to watch something.
My two measures of a good room are a powerful shower and a comfy bed. This hotel passed both with flying colours.
It was also a real pleasure to have fresh milk for tea/coffee instead of the usual UHT milk pots!
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel if you are looking for accommodation in Crediton and without a doubt we will stay here ourselves again when back in the area.
A perfect stay for a romantic break. The bedroom was luxury and the hosts were so friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The breakfasts are freshly cooked with local produce and home made extras. Very peaceful place to unwind at the end of a day. Nothing seemed too much trouble.
This house is amazing, thatched roof, picture perfect cottage styled luxury home. We loved it here.
We chose our breakfast the night before, which was not a problem for us. Breakfast was sumptuous. Well done to Linda and Ian for such a warm welcome. The grounds around the house were a revelation. Unfortunately we only stopped overnight as we were on our way home, but we will certainly try our very best to stay here again for a longer stay. This Bed & Breakfast is better than a 4/5 star hotel, from the welcoming entrance, to the exceptional attention to detail and cleanliness.

We loved everything. The owners are the sweetest people, and made us feel welcome as soon as we got out from our car. Breakfast was amazing. Served on White tablecloth, and perfectly cooked, it was better than all the 5 star hotels that we have stayed in! It was such a lovely peaceful setting. Sad we only were there for 1 night.
