The Tal-Y-Cafn Hotel, hotel in Tal-y-Cafn

Situated in Tal-y-Cafn, 14 km from Llandudno Pier, The Tal-Y-Cafn Hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

The setting is breathtaking .. The rooms are so comfortable, and Mike, the owner, goes above and beyond to make the stay memorable . The added touches in the room from the doggy bed time story book and the items that make it a home from home experience .. It's our new go-to retreat in one of our favourite parts of Wales. . The food, especially the breakfast, was highly recommended .. although I do like my hashbrowns crispier. We will be back.

The location was superb. The suite lacked basics such as a wardrobe but included a sink unit? The carpet had not been vacuumed. Hair and dirt could be found. The breakfast itself was lovely but had to ask for sugar, butter and tomato ketchup. Also I did not expect to have self service for tea, coffee and toast for the price. Also we had to pay the £200.00 fee even though we said that we had already paid for the visit. T

Great central location for areas visited Aberglaslyn Pass, Conwy Falls, Llanrwst & Zip world Caverns. The Breakfast, Saturday evening dinner & Sunday Roast were all very nice and managment were friendly & nothing too much trouble. Rooms well decorated with a massive tub & shower in our room. Remote location but the property had everything we needed as well as a pleasant bar area for pre or post dinner drinks. The Restaurant was always busy with a lot of locals even popping by for breakfast. We would definately visit again.

This hotel is in a superb location . The rooms are beautifully appointed and clean. They are above the pub and are therefore very noisy . The pub/restaurant but is mediocre . The food was really not fantastic and the arrive, although exceptionally friendly was not very efficient .

We stayed for 3 nights at the snowdon studio 2 adults and 2 children and 1 small dog 🐾 It truly was a home from home, a very comfortable stay with some nice touches tea, sugar, coffee and milk and all toiletries and robes were provided and a beautiful complimentary bottle of prosecco, flowers and chocolates! Our view of the mountain range from the balcony was superb, even better in the hot tub watching the sun go down. The location is a short drive to Snowdon, Llandudno, Towyn and Rhyl etc. It has also has a large carpark on site. Mike the manager also gave us an I pad that we could order food and drink on from the bar and restaurant down stairs for room service Big thank you to Mike, Rhys and all the team in the bar and restaurant the food and drinks were excellent. I would definitely recommend this gem of a place and we will most certainly be back for another stay. All the best Rob Carla Sonny Shea Rudy

    Very average experience.

Very average experience. An expensive room considering lack of coffee/milk in room, no breakfast options nearby and decorations and sheet changes (in the lounge area) that looked like they were in progress.
