Location close to the places we wanted to visit. Good parking. Friendly, helpful staff who seemed to do their best, but senior management was obviously lacking.
Just 1.4 miles from the town centre, Crowne Plaza Basingstoke has a gym and a carvery restaurant. Access to the M3 is just 1 mile away.

The location was well situated near the motorway but not so close that noise pollution invaded the room and created difficulty sleeping or any other discomfort. Only a short walk to Basingstoke town centre for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also to have a look around the town and shopping centre. The room was larger than expected, very modern, nicely decorated and clean. The bar area on the ground floor was well decorated, clean, the staff were really nice and helpful and the whole hotel had a really nice atmosphere.
With free Wi-Fi in all areas and free parking on site, this family-run hotel sits in almost 2 acres of grounds and has pretty views over the Berkshire countryside.

I really like this place. Stayed a few times as it's near my office. Lovely staff. Feels like family. Very charming.

Our was an overnight stop so we did not go to Tadley. The whole area is beautiful countryside with some lovely villages. It would be a good place to have as a base for exploring the area and near to Basingstoke and Newbury.

It's a beautiful traditional pub and converted barns set in a lovely village in the countryside, perfect for a nice relaxing break. 10 mins drive from big towns either way . Great food and if you book bed breakfast and evening meal it works out a lot cheaper, definitely recommend that..

We stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding locally. It was easy to find down a country lane. It is a little way from Tadley - really between Kingsclere and Tadley. Plenty of private parking. Lovely old pub with comfortable, clean, modern, en-suite rooms. We had dinner there on the first evening and the food was very good and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Our room was warm, the bed large and comfortable. Big shower that worked well. Breakfast was good with several hot options. It was great value for money.

Lovely old pub and converted coach house and stables.
Lovely old pub and converted coach house and stables. Only 15 minutes from Basingstoke. Lovely clean large room with a very comfortable bed.
A bit tricky to park the motorbikes on the deep gravel, but would not stop us staying here again, as it was great value and an exceptional breakfast was included, Lovely friendly staff in the pub and evening meals were great

Super accommodation and lovely proprietor.
Super accommodation and lovely proprietor. Plenty of excellent places to eat within the immediate area. Our only comment (definitely not an "issue") is that since the place is on a main road, there is inevitably some traffic noise which we are not used to.

Friendly and cosy pub in the countryside but close to amenities. The offer of dinner and breakfast is a bargain and the food is typical but tasty. The room was lovely and full of character.
The rooms were clean only a minimum so looses some points for that. The mattresses was very springy and didn't sleep very well. If cleanliness and mattress change this would be the perfect place.
