All the facilites of a self catered accommodation, and more. Really easy access to amenities from the 'shop'. We got coal for a barbecue from the shop and used a lot of the equipment provided. We also bought wood from the shop and had more than enough for a couple of hours sitting by the fire. We could hear the river rushing by, the lambs and the geese in the firelds nearby. The bathrooms were great and one had a heater in it. We also used the heated blanket and the heater in the tent which was great

Josh welcomed us with the keys and gave us a lot of precious advice on what to do/where to eat. The accommodation is peaceful and lovely, great view from the door-window. The independent entrance gives you a lot of privacy. The location is perfect for travelling the area/Antrim county.
In lovely surroundings.
I had what they call a suite, It was not a suite it was a room with ensuite bathroom. No extra touches or luxury that makes it a suite.
No soap in hand soap dispenser.
No glasses for water.
Have to pre select what you want for breakfast the night before.
Breakfast does not start till 8.30am too late for lots of people. If you want it earlier there is a charge.

The local Spar in Stranocum is less than 5 minutes by car and has everything you could need, and there is a local chip shop adjacent to it.
The local restaurant, the Scenic Inn is family orientated and homely but recommend booking especially at weekends.

It was a very peaceful tranquil area.
It was a very peaceful tranquil area. We visited the Giants Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the Seaside Harbour Town of Bally Castle, There was a great Fish and Chip Shop by the Harbour. You could see over to Raithlin Island from there. There was a ferry there that you could take if you wished to visit the Island. There were plenty of places to eat on the seafront and there is a Fair on over the August Bank Holiday - Lammas Fair, We travelled by car and parking was easy but taxis were advertised.

You need a car.
You need a car. Stranocum boasts a well stocked shop and a garage, for anything more you will need to go either into Ballymoney or Ballycastle. We went out to eat at Scenic Inn [9 mins drive] but by taxi - very difficult and one way cost £25.95 as taxi coming from Ballycastle. Got taxi back for £13 as was coming out to Inn that was nearer to its base. The Dark Hedges from Game of Thrones only 6 min walk. Hour drive to Belfast - a must-see is the Crumlin Road Goel and Titanic exhibition. Ballycastle half hour drive to get ferry over to Rathlin Island [bird sanctuary at West Lighthouse]. Coming from International Airport Belfast, make a visit to retail park for Lidl, Asda etc to stock up
