Top service by the lady on reception on my arrival that evening. Special thanks to her. The building is clearly in need of a spruce up but it was very clean and tidy. The bathroom had a slight smell to it when I arrived but it had gone by the morning.

Where to start?? The location 10/10, the owners 10/10, the accomodation 10/10, the cleanliness 10/10, the comfort of the bed 10/10, the peace and quiet 10/10, the breakfast 10/10, the welcome and the atmosphere 10/10, the views 10/10. In future we will be willing to travel at least an hour further to stay here over anywhere else. All this and for a price so much less than anywhere else too !!

More homely than fancy with a comfortable ensuite room (incredibly powerful shower!), good menu and delicious evening meal. First class breakfast. Plenty of parking. Very reasonable price.
Hazelwood House is a purpose built, 4-star guesthouse, just a mile from Bridgend Town Centre. It is set amid a beautifully landscaped garden within a natural meadow.

Good pub short drive away for an evening meal.
Hosts were really friendly. Welcome pack was a nice extra touch.
Cottage was cosy (even in January!) and had everything we needed.
Location was great with lovely walks on the doorstep, and a pub with good food right next door.
