I can't recommend the Delrachney Lodge enough. Our room was lovely, our hosts were charming and caring, and the breakfast was amazing. On to of that, they were so concerned about us that one night when getting dinner out would be difficult they made special arrangements for us and gave us a delicious dinner at the Lodge, where they normally do not serve dinner. We will be back without question. Thanks Steve and Tracy for a great experience.

Loved the history, the location behind the old railway, and the little park in front. Also, the bathrooms were updated, and there were plenty of USB outlets.

The staff at reception, dining, and housekeeping and groundskeeping were all excellent. We were treated to excellent, seamless service and the intentional upkeep of the property was evident.

Don’t follow your Sat Nav to Skye of Curr as property is based off the B970 about a mile from Speybridge, near Grantown-on-Spey. Huge, comfortable, old farmhouse set over 3 floors with shared bathroom on first floor and additional shower room/toilet on ground floor. Kitchen is very well equipped both with pots, pans, utensils and white goods including separate tumble dryer. Situated within a working farm, owners live in attached property and were excellent hosts not intrusive but there on hand if required. Good base to explore local area. Free Wi-Fi. Only 1 television in the property and that is located in the lounge and only has basic Freeview channels. DVD player but no DVD’s or board games available so families with children may need to consider this. If it’s peace and quiet you require and a chance to recharge your batteries in a beautiful location with stunning scenery, comfortable bed then this is definitely the property to book.
