Crowne Plaza Reading, hotel in Shiplake

On the banks of the River Thames, the Crowne Plaza Reading is a 5-minute drive from the centre of Reading. The hotel offers air-conditioned rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi, and paid car parking.

Our only concern is that there are insufficient staff in the breakfast area whenever the hotel is fairly busy. In all other respects entirely satisfied particularly with the helpful and very pleasant attitude of all the staff on duty!

Not the best time to describe the area, as it was dark and stormy, but it looked quaint and probably really attractive in better weather conditions. It's a surprisingly quiet village, so near to the conurbation of Reading.
