The gardens were really pretty and peaceful. The staff were excellent and really helped out when we needed. The room was clean and tidy, with a selection of coffee and tea options.

The character or the pub the fact that it's 600 yrs old and still standing . The quirky walls and uneven floors make it an interesting place to stay . The food in the evening was excellent and the breakfast in the morning again perfect .

First time we have stayed in an Inn. It was OK, staff were friendly, room was adequate, location meant we could get to and from the property easily. Lots of restaurants close by. So Ok for a one night stay.

It was a compact property, but perfect for a couple. The weather was frigid when we arrived but the host had kindly left the heating on all day for us to warm the house up and also provided a wonderful wood burner and wood that saved the day and cheered us up no end. Note that the single bathroom is on the ground floor.

A great base for visiting the beaches of North Norfolk. Close enough to Norwich too, although Fakenham has all you need for a stay - good Tesco, takeaways, etc. WElls-next-the-sea is the nearest beach, and it's a good one. Other beaches are in easy distance. Sculthorpe is a pretty little village.

Pretty little village but the pub, The Aviator, would not serve meals to visitors as they said that the tables were all reserved every day during out stay (4 days). This was the only downside to our short break (getting a drink was no problem with safe distancing, signing in and hand wash facilities with a one way system in place).

Excellent all round experience. Lovely accommodation with friendly helpful staff. Ian the manager was extremely personable and friendly and ensured that he made time for us.
The variety of food was excellent and reasonably priced and the included breakfast was well worth getting up for.
The location is amazing with superb views from the rooms.

Couldn’t find fault with Sculthorpe Mill or the staff. Everything was exceptional. Great location, room, bed and food. Manager & staff very friendly. The food is of good quality and reasonably price. The steak we ordered was cooked to perfection and the best we have eaten in a long time. Would highly recommend Sculthorpe Mill & have booked to return in the summer 😄.

location and rooms . we had pre booked the Yurt at Thornham for birthdays but could have easily stayed in and eaten at the Mill had we of known they did evening meals
beautiful building and great staff
The interior was very stylish - very spacious and airy - due to the vaulted ceiling. The general location was good, i.e. based in Sculthorpe - a very pretty, tranquil part of the world - lovely walks in the countryside close by - I visited a nature reserve which was about 15minutes walk away. And Wells-next-to-Sea, Holkam Beach and Holkam Hall are all close by - all fantastic in their own way. Lovely and quiet in the property. An exceptionally nice welcome pack was waiting for me.
