A large village with three pubs. About a mile or so from the property but walkable if you wanted to. Only tried The White Swan (twice) but it was excellent. There are two shops in the village. The Pink Pig Farm (about 10 miles away) is an excellent day out for children up to 12.

Scotter is a lovely little village, we went there for my husband to go fishing and there are two decent fishing lakes nearby.
There are a couple of pubs and lots of different take aways all within walking distance of the hotel.
Beth went above and beyond, she is a credit to the accommodation. I had to work from my room and didn't have time to go into the restaurant, she kindly brought up my dinner to my room. I am very grateful for her generosity as know this is not the Hotel's policy. Thank you Beth - it was really appreciated.
Room 30. Lovely size and big comfortable bed with wonderful bathroom with bath and shower. Visit a couple of times a year from Scotland to see my elderly father living in Scotter so a perfect place to stay.
Didn’t have breakfast this time but had an evening meal in the bar which was excellent.
Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom very modern and a great tub for a soak. Showerhead was a bit dodgy so that should be looked at. Customer service was excellent both in the restaurant and the hotel.
All aspects of the hotel were great, but in particular the staff were excellent and the food was delicious, especially the Chocolate and Tonka bean creme brulee.
