The staff, hospitality, the food are all bang on point. It’s a no nonsense friendly hotel. Went for a nice walk on the fantastic beach on the doorstep. And in the evening you get the greatest of sunsets with the Isle of Man on the Horizon. I’d go back again.

Really nice rooms. We ate in the bar & grill for dinner and had breakfast and the food was great and they catered for vegan really well! The service was fantastic, staff really looked after us and from what we could see all guests.

Santon Bridge has a lovely pub where we had a delicious home cooked meal. There are also tea rooms but we didn’t visit that. The drive to Gosforth village is around 15/20 mins (where there is a well stocked Budgens, pubs, restaurant and delightful coffee shop.)
The surrounding country roads are mainly quiet but there are many sharp bends and narrow places with single lane passing places.
